Nice spa, terrible rooms. Cold and haven't been decorated in 50 years. Heating didn't work, noisy and drafty windows.

We stayed for 1 night while visiting friends in Lyon. We chose the hotel based on the fitness center only to find out that it was an additional 45 euros to use. That was ridiculous, and the room itself was a nice size but not worth what we paid.

Over priced additional £45 if you want to use the pool

I did not like the bath in the bathroom, it was old and broken

The bed in my room need to be replace, it had dent and lump.

I stayed in an apartment style room, it was very clean and comfortable. My water was topped up each day, I enjoyed the breakfast, good choice but expensive if it's not included in your room rate. Would love to go back and try the spa! Friendly helpful staff.

Clean and nice hotel

On paper it looks nice, but when we got there, it turns out that even though you pay €150 you have to pay €20 for breakfast (that is indicated in the description), but also €40-45 for the pool and gym spa (that is NOT indicated in the description). If they write in the description that the breakfast is an additional fee of €20, they should write that the gym and pool are an additional €40, anything less is dishonest. Apart from that internet was the worst of any hotel I've been to, keeps disconnecting, they blocked access to speediest.net so we could not show them it's bad. Bottom line, don't go there if you'd like internet and budget €60 or €70 more if you want the basics a hotel shod offer. One more thing. The pillows are uncomfortable.

The only issue is exorbitant costbofb the spa. It is a lovely spa but itvis quite inappropriate that a staying guest has to pay OR is not offered a significant discount. Accepting the charge guests OUGHT to get usage check in to check out..not just per calendar day. My main interest was the pool. It rained

I never checked in to Metropole, because what they don’t tell you is the pool is 50 Euros a person, per day. The pool is literally the only reason I chose this hotel. So, I left and ate a hefty cancellation the first night stay, even though they are clearly falsely advertising. Don’t come to this hotel unless you want to pay a small fortune to swim.

Hello I booke your hotel for the pool which is every where on the photos and and on the websites and was extremely disappointed to hear that the pool access was 45 euros / person an info that was mentioned NOWHERE in my booking the rooms are old, with horrible walls and carpet, I clearly booked for the pool which I didn't have access to. I will never book again and do not recommend

We arrived on black Saturday, it was really busy. However, we still had a pleasant and fast checkin. We had an apartment, which was located in a building just adjacent to the main building. Our apartment was large, clear and updated, all in all very nice. The hotel is more a resort with all the options. We used both the indoor and outdoor pool, which are huge. Additionally we had dinner twice in the restaurant, good food and service and a special menu for children. The location is okay, but not very close to the city center. One can walk, but this is about 45-60 minutes. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and definitely come back when we visit Lyon

excellent hotel, excellent apartment with a lot of comforts. yet here is what could be improved: first of all, the shower curtain, really needs to be changed as it is rather brown in its lower part, which looks disgusting. and then, adding several hooks in the many areas of the apartment so that a family of 4 can hang their robes after the pool and all their towels. not a big deal, but it would clearly be more convenient. also, the pillows were too flat , not thebest quality for a good and comfortable sleep. that could be improved. thank you ! other than that this hotel really is amazing and the facilities are extraordinary. also, it would be great to add a table tennis table, indoor. and also a baby foot and a snooker table, as for the teenagers there is not much to do except the sports of course.

In and overall It was Seni decent, Calling a 4-star Hotel, is like Saying that woman are really from Mars... Quite a lot of disappointment, almost and every category, besides the Spa and restaurant (that actually doesn't have anything to do when you book an hotel)

Hotel staff, rooms, facilities excellent, would be 5 stars in my eyes. They resolved issues quickly, very polite. Stayed for a week here. Hotel brasserie restaurant very poor food and staff very rude. Felt like another number and expensive. It was like two different places in quality and standards, particularly where the staff were concerned.

There is no public transportation on google maps! I recommend staying in the city center as this hotel is far from it. Had to call uber daily. We were frustrated not being able to use public transportation easily without the information on google maps. They really need to submit this info in order to make our stay in Lyon convenient! This hotel does not cater to vegans. No daily free options in the rooms for coffee nor in the cafe! The pool was awesome, staff was awesome. Good friendly service, great view from room. Food was blah for vegans. Electricity went out for a couple of hours but it was taken care of.

I was very pleased with a staff member. There was a big problem with my rental car. I asked for help to the staff member. He helped me with many phone calls to the car rental agency. All problems were completely solved with the help of him. Thanks to him, I could go on to do my next business trip without any delay. Definitely It was one of my pleasant experiences.

The pools both outdoors and indoor are the best feature of this hotel.

Great hotel for business as it is within the Cite Internationale Conference Center. Hotel is modern and with all the conveniences.

The residence rooms were unique - I did not like the fact that if you checked out of your room and had a late departure you could not use the pool facilities unless you paid Euro 25 for the day!

Historical building close to La Rambla.. room had no windows or great a/c.. surprise charges that I contested, which they politely waived..

This is a modern, friendly hotel with great spa and swimming facilities.

WiFi was good but requires repeated login when device is ideal. Restaurant is fine but no walkable other dinner options.

when I booked I liked the pictures but at checking in they gave me a room in a side building much inferior quality nothing to do with what I had seen in the pictures
