Large hotel with limited parking. Large rooms but bathrooms need updating & modernising. Good breakfast but aimed more at the mass tourist market. The added benefit was that our 2no dogs were allowed at the hotel for an additional cost

The rooms are spacious and beds are comfy. Bathroom is awesome and has everything you need. You have breakfast included and it is amazing. Bus station is right behind the hotel and you can go anywhere from there. The staff are very kind.

Breakfast was poor, transportation to main city is far and the taxi driver charged me $100 Euros to pick me up from Florence city to the hotel after 12 am in New Year’s and from the Airport to the hotel the taxi driver charged me $65 Euros from 15 minutes far apart, with all the money expensed in train and taxi I would have a hotel in the city.

Where do I start this hotel looks decent in the pictures but don’t let it fool you it is NOT what it looks like in person, it’s outdated no coffee machine or kettle in the room, no cups or anything bare minimum. The breakfast was horrible the food was all old and stale the eggs were cold and overall not good. The location is okay it’s far from everything and is in a kinda sketchy neighborhood.

The hotel room was a little dirty but the staff at the front desk were very rude and not super friendly. The hotel parking lot was very dirty and have a bad impression. Also the toilet is way too close to the door where it causes discomfort at times. The breakfast was delicious and super fresh fruit.

This is a great hotel with excellent service and breakfast included. Rooms are big and modern. Great wifi. Horrible public transportation to get to hotel from Prato train station. It takes all 1.5 with bus and walk. Prato station is only 15 km from Florence Santa Maria central station. Bests way to get to hotel is by taxi from Prato central station. Approximately 10 euros. 7 minutes taxi ride to hôtel than 1.5 by bus.

Hotel Datini was just ok. Although the beds were comfy and breakfast was good, it left much to be desired. The design of the shower is odd, you get water everywhere, there's no wifi in the bedroom (even though they claimed they did) so if you need to work, you must sit in the lobby. The lobby is a tiny room with a rinky dink "bar". Hertz is supposed to be there but were not and when I asked the staff questions about how to rent a car they said they didn't know and went about their business. They ignored me and wouldn't offer me any assistance. I plan to go back to Italy soon but will find a different place to stay.

Hotel guests were pretty loud in the hallway late at night and early in the morning. Breakfast was great and the rooms were cleaned well each day. Not a great location without a car although a bus stop is at the back door. Not much in walking distance from the hotel. Exercise room was terrible/not air-conditioned. Hotel could use updating.

Reception staff ok but not very friendly or overly welcoming. I only just got a car parking space and it was not clear that there was extra parking at the rear of the hotel - I literally took the last space. You should be aware that it is not secure parking - which was fine for me. Room was big and clean - good wifi - breakfast was ok but nothing special. room was nice as warm. I would stay again as my trip was for business - but I wouldnt personally choose it as a romantic getaway hotel! Its not in a pretty area - out of town and not much on the doorstep.

We , left our bags and went out to work, someone had entered our room and stolen some make up, and money.
There are no facilities to get anything to eat at the hotel.

Hotel needs a refreshment, which the staff says will happen in 2013. When that happens,it will be a much nicer place. As it is, it's not bad, staff was very pleasant, breakfast was good, and location was convenient for access to the highway.

Basic clean hotel. Couldn't work out how to get the AirCon to work but the windows opened, so that was ok! Otherwise a nice clean room and a very good restaurant. It was very handy for the location of my business trip but otherwise probably not a tourist hotel. Oh and the Sky in room box had sound but no picture! Not too bothered as Italian TV is not exactly great...
Staff very friendly and helpful.

We were not sure what to expect but were very pleased with the overall experience. It is a little way out of Firenza but not a problem.
