The hotel is under renovation which means drilling, buzzing and all sorts from 9am-6pm. The wifi is super poor also in the rooms.
The biggest problem is the front desk staff. They must realize that renovations on site are not pleasant for any guest but they have zero empathy. Their response is - just deal with it. That's fine but you are in a customer service role. Show some empathy, kindness and consideration. Guests are still paying to stay at the hotel.
A drunk group woke us up at 2am. The reception did not answer the phone. They partied and made noise for a good amount of time.
Would not recommend this hotel until they finish renovations.

This hotel was a bit out of the way. It’s about a 20 walk to the nearest mall (where I took the hop on/hop off bus. But I walked around the the nearby restaurants by myself (female) and never once felt unsafe. The staff were really great and the room was really clean and comfortable. Totally recommend if you don’t mind being away from the action.

The hotel is 20 years old and you can see that in the room and amenities. The bathroom is dated and stained. Noise from 9 am through 6 pm. The 6th flour is under renovation so it was not a pleasant stay.

The staff this morning was so extra helpful. I dont have the Uber App. But one of the staff found a way to Uber me to the airport in time. Top notch customer sevice!

The staff is very friendly and helpfu, recommeding and explaining the attractions, ATM, public transportions, and supermarkets.
Let me stay till 2 pm without additional charge since my flight was departuring at night.

The rooms were for sure not luxurious when this hotel opened a few years ago… but they were probably meeting the quality requirements of Novotel, a 4 stars cost effective brand (with quite basic standards). Nevertheless, I am afraid not any refurbishment has been carried out since then and until the rooms are not renewed, guests will still be disappointed by their experience, below the legitimate expectations they could have

It is a really nice hotel in a good part of town. It is a bit quiet but very safe and you can walk to many things. The staff had a great attitude and very committed to serving their guests.

Wonderful hotel. Almost everything is done right. Very kind and experienced staff at the reception desk and housekeeping; lovely breakfast; and a comfortable room. I was however surprised to find some wear and tear in my room, like loose wallpaper and mold stains. Not a real issue of course, but things I don't expect to see in a Novotel. The other thing that surprised me was the staff member who did the room service: he asked for a tip even before I got to bring my pen out to sign the bill. What was that about?! In spite of these two minor issues, I would recommend this hotel. The biggest competition is right across the road: the Hyatt Place has nicer rooms, but will cost you a bit more.

Very old hotel. Hallway carpets are very old and needs changing. The room was big but very old. The bathroom was cramped, difficult to take shower due to glass partition. We had a flight issue and had to stay here for one night. Lobby and breakfast area is newish. Location near the bus to metro.

Our stay for 3 nights was very good. The room is spacious, the breakfast is excellent, and the reception staff are very helpful. There are a lot of channels on the TV, including CNN International and HBO. The location is a bit out of the way -- there really is no Metro stop within walking distance -- but the taxi ride to the Metro is inexpensive. Probably our only complaint is that the toilet and the sink are not located in the same area of the room, which struck me as odd.
