Wonderful hotel with a bar and restaurant attached. Close to everything. Very clean!

I thought the hotel was beautiful and very interesting with all of the different staircases. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and the bar/restaurant food was very good.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dooley's Hotel. The food was delicious, both for breakfast and in the bar. We enjoyed the live music at night, and it was a comfortable stay. The only issue was you can hear what everyone is doing above you. Luckily we had ear plugs to drown it out, but sometimes it sounded like folks playing rugby at 3am! Other than that, the room was comfortable and the staff was amazingly helpful!

We loved this property! Warm and helpful staff. The restaurant food was fantastic. Waterford was our favorite spot in Ireland; so much to see , all within walking distance. Bonus, the bus stops in front of the hotel!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and warm. The cleaning staff did an excellent job every time. We used a cot bed that unfortunately was not set up properly and fell down a few times that we had to rectify ourselves. Restaurant and food was to an excellent quality, if a little pricey but the bar was surprisingly clean and bright. We enjoyed the breakfast every day and had a variety of foods for everyone, including a vegan cooked breakfast. Unfortunately, when other guests did disturb us we felt that the staff didn't do enough and this had to be escalated to management, but the following day they did respond very quickly. Unfortunately for anyone who stayed that one night may not have seen the rectification of the matter. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

We liked to stay there! The room was tidy, the employees very kind and the breakfast was very good. The only problem we hat: we didn’t get the room we booked. We could sleep there but we would have had more comfort with the booked room.

Really close to public transport if using bus or train. Hotel was happy to look after our bags after we checked out which was appreciated. To note one on your floor there are stairs to navigate with your bags.

Hotel in good location, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was cooked fresh, very tasty and plenty of choice. A little disappointed that bedside cupboard tops were dirty with cup stains and full of dust, bathroom was spotless and rest of hotel couldn't fault

The hotel is pretty basic. The staff were really nice. We had to park our car across the street and drag our luggage over a busy road. There is not much can be done about this as the hotel is situated in the city center. You do have to pay for the car parking. The restaurant in the hotel was not the best the food was not great I couldn’t eat mine but the staff were really nice. The hotel is pretty dated but we only stayed one night. It’s alright to stop over one night but if we were to stay longer I would not select this hotel. Thanks

No air conditioning. Found a fan too late. Opened window for air but too noisy

Very friendly staff and nice rooms. However our bathroom should get a little renovation and you could hear the noises of the surrounding area.

Staff, from reception to the cooks, cleaners and management were exceptional. This was the second time I'd been back in 3 months. Wide ranging menu, and the Full Irish breakfast was was delicious. 10/10 Marc C

Best part of any hospitality industry is the people and the front desk staff was awesome. Especially Gisele.

The front desk staff is particularly friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a confusion with our reservation and they worked with us to resolve it. All the time, they remained very positive.

I chose Dooleys through Expedia as being in central location and affordable. The hotel is quite large and has a restaurant, bar and conference room as well as more than 100 bedrooms. Apart from Giselle a receptionist, the staff were a bit unfriendly. Breakfast was as expected with good porridge and full Irish. Good choice of whiskies in the bar, including Waterford. The front would be more welcoming with different paint colours. Please take professional advice.

Good location good room, parking a bit of a pain across the road, with short term and long termed a bit of confusion. But easy to sort. Staff helpful.

My favorite part was the Blah for breakfast! Historic AND delicious! The Irish music in the evening was perfect.

We enjoyed being able to walk to many attractions.

Staff were really friendly and the food was good. However the tv in the room was quite small....would have expected a bit better for the cost of the room. There was also rubbish behind the tv unit, so that obviously hadnt been cleaned very well. We also got woken multiple times in the night because of drunk people outside and then delivery lorries at 4am. Overall our stay was good but I dont think we would stay in the hotel again.

Old buildings. Low ceilings, dated corridors, creaking floors. At €150 for a single it's poor value. Good breakfast choices and service. Sarcasm never a good trait for a receptionist, ruined any positive impression. Paid for public parking.
