Wonderful stay at a very unique property. Peaceful, serene, beautiful are words that come to mind. Owner was most gracious and gave us a personal tour of other large ranch house property. Owners have put a lot of effort making this a first class experience and special property. Our first time in a treehouse enjoyed the great vista's and tranquility. vrbo listing and pictures were quite accurate.

We rented all 3 properties at the Shankle Ranch for a family reunion. So many wonderful places to sit and enjoy each other, the view, the pool, a fire, the many antiques, etc. The place was clean, well kept, beautiful, and fun! We would definitely return as a family or just to stay in the tree house!

Everybody needs to experience a stay in a treehouse at least once. This was amazing views, amazing host and a chance to "rough it" in a treehouse.

The treehouse has amazing character and charm. It is fully furnished with bathroom, kitchenette, living room area, and beds. The wrap-around porch is great for hanging out and taking in the views.

An amazing peaceful property!!

We were looking for something different for our 44th anniversary, once we saw the treehouse listing my wife & i both knew this would be a great opportunity so we booked a 3 day stay. What a fantastic unique stay this was for us, the treehouse itself is setup perfectly, nestled up just high enough for fantastic mountain and valley views, lots of birds to observe landing in the tree tops. The interior accommodations are setup perfectly, the craftsmanship is professionally done. If you have ever wanted to stay in a treehouse but were somewhat skeptical, don't be book this treehouse and unwind and relax. Carolyne met us on our arrival day to show us the layout & welcome us to the property, and they were kind enough to have a nice bottle of red wine waiting for us to celebrate our anniversary, we appreciated the kind gesture.

Great stay at the Treehouse. Definitely off-the-grid and beautiful surroundings. Enjoyed deer, wild turkey, and tons of bird sightings from the balcony. Only minus was poor to nonexistent Wi-Fi connectivity. That said, we will recommend the Treehouse to friends and family.

We rented the Shankle Treehouse in addition to the Shankle Ranch for our family members during our 50th anniversary celebration. It was wonderful to have the space for additional people to stay that was right close by. The Treehouse is fascinating, and makes you feel a little like a kid again. Very appropriately decorated with all of the amenities you would need. The owners are wonderful to work with, and we would absolutely rent it again if the opportunity arises!

We had such a nice time! It was on our bucket list to stay in a treehouse and Shankle Ranch did not disappoint. We did some shopping in Tubac (great artsy town) and had fun enjoying a night without technology in the treehouse. Great hostesses. They went out of their way to make our stay nice.

This place was so cute! It feels a lot like glamping. It’s cozy and fun! The hosts are amazing and super accommodating. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I attended a wedding near bye. We saw the tree house online and thought it would be an adventure. This property is spectacular. All the comforts of home with the views and charm you can only get from a treehouse! Don’t miss this opportunity if you get the chance to book it!

We booked for anniversary. New VBRO listing and we were beyond excited to have an opportunity to stay in one of the treehouse guys built amazing treehouses. The tree house was plenty spacious and the views were absolutely amazing. For being in the desert everything was so green and the mountain views were fantastic. This is on a working cattle ranch so there were cattle also grazing in the green pastures. Everything was perfect from the wind blowing into the tree houses porch, to the porch swing and the local milled Mesquite sided to the recycled wood beams brought in from Canada from an old air hanger. There is even a running river (stream) and a pond. Tubac is A quaint artistic town that has great restaurants and shops. There is so much history in this region of Arizona Due to the migration of people on the Anza Trail from Mexico. Lots of Spanish Catholic missions along the trail. I was more than happy to recommend this property to local Sahuarita residents with a post to our neighborhood community. We had our 14 yr old one of the nights and she said it was so “aesthetically pleasing”. We enjoyed the pool, diving board and spa. We even enjoyed “Chewy” the automatic, super quiet and hard working lawnmower. Thank you for sharing your property with us!!! No kids at this property due to safety reasons!! The stairs have the potential of being dangerous to someone who falls due to large gaps in the sides.
