I've stayed at Hyatt Place properties before, however, this was my first time at this particular location. My stay was beneath the Hyatt reputation I was accustomed to. The first night My Sisters and I did not have access to the streaming app which caused us not to have our movie night. I called front desk and we were told that maintenance wasn't available until the next morning. Once we got up the next morning, one of the beds had a bed bug which bit the person in the bed. We switched to a second room and there was another bed bug in one of the beds. Thankfully it was discovered upon turning the covers back to spray the beds with Lysol spray. This was also done on the first night. We were switched to a third room. Everything seemed fine but we're too paranoid to sleep under any type of covers. We purchased blankets to cover the beds and couch and blankets to cover with along with our own towels and washcloths. The switching of rooms cost us our morning which cut into our activities we were planning to do. No financial compensation was made. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS PROPERTY!! I would add the photos but the app is not allowing me.

Great service. Thoroughly enjoyed our room. The weather was crummy but the comfort of the room made it great to stay inside our room. Breakfast was delicious.

Our stay was perfect except for when we checked in. The hotel did not have our reservation from hotels.com. It took about 20-25 minutes for the hotel to be able to confirm that we had made a reservation and already paid. They no longer had the room that we reserved, but they were able to accommodate us to our liking.
Other than that snafu, the hotel was exceptional. It is a nice hotel that is clean, has great service, includes a good buffet breakfast, good happy hour, and free parking. The price and location can’t be beat. We look forward to staying here, again.

The hotel was in a good location. Everyone was friendly. MOST importantly, it looked and smelled clean, and the beds and pillows were comfy! We will definitely be staying again!

Beautiful room in a very nice hotel in a nice location of the panhandle (not tacky!) Excellent customer service as well. My only complaint is the exorbitant pet fee of $175 per stay. They were gracious enough to waive this for us, but that is far too expensive and we didn’t know about it when we booked on hotels.com. It should be listed on all booking websites considering that most hotels, in my experience, only charge $25-30 a night, or maybe $100 for longer stays.

I was very impressed by the friendliness and kindness of all of the staff, Breakfast was served hot and delicious. Overall cleanliness of this establishment was excellent! My room was very spacious and bed was very comfortable. Within walking distance to shopping.

we had a one-night stopover stay in Miramar. The ladies that checked us in were super friendly. We stayed in other hotels as part of our trip back to Texas and this sleeper sofa was the comfiest out of all of the hotels we stayed at but the linens provided to me for the sofa bed left much to be desired. If I wasn't so tired, I would've called to get better ones. The breakfast was delicious and fresh and so was the coffee. I loved how close the hotel was to everything. I actually want to come back to this area and spend more time here.

I took my granddaughter to Destin for her 8th birthday. She wanted a hotel with a pool and breakfast. Hyatt Place did not disappoint. The hotel was super clean. The buffet was nice. Staff was friendly. The hotel is located near EVERYTHING! The only thing that didn't meet expectations were the beds. The mattresses were horrible. My 14 year old granddaughter was on the sofa bed and everytime she moved, every spring in it squeaked...terribly. Overall, this hotel is a keeper and we'd definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay! Location was perfect. We were within walking distance of great shops and dining. And a quick trip away from the beach.
The only thing I would change about the hotel is the sheets. I know that’s a weird complaint but it seemed like they weren’t the correct size and I had to put the fitted sheet on multiple times.

We arrived quite late but the staff was excellent and accommodating. Checkout was a breeze. Loved the ability to purchase late night snacks.

Front desk representative Ann was the most rude and obnoxious human I’ve ever came across. Very disappointed in her poor attitude and disregard for hotel guests. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for years and her behavior and attitude was uncalled for and disrespectful

Staff is very polite, helpful, professional, hotel very clean, well maintained, love the air conditioning in the room, no odor or heavy perfume, allergies did not flair up. Safety high priority. Location within walking distance to high end stores & restaurants.

This hotel had great breakfast, the beds are very comfortable, hotel is new modern style that we loved. The pool and gym was clean, and the area had walkable shopping, AMC theater, it was a lot to do in the area. We would definitely stay here in again.

This is a vsry nice property with great staff and cleanliness. It is in walking distance of multiple stores, restaurants, and Publix. I felt safe at night walking in the surrounding area and the options for fun and relaxation nearby were endless. My only cons were no microwave in the room and limited breakfast options.

We had a good nights rest, it was quiet and the beds were comfortable.
I didn't like the bathroom door(It slides and is frosted) and if you set on one of the beds you could see into the bathroom because of the full length mirror on the opposite side. No exhaust fan in bathroom and no microwave.

The employees were nice and attentive. The different breakfast options for both morning were good. Plenty of parking spaces to still be able to park close to the entrance. Well definitely stay here again.
