The flat is wonderfully close to the old harbour and you are in the middle of Marseille in a very nice arrondissement. The furnishings are modern and you have everything you need.

We liked having a washing machine available for our clothes. Also, the kitchen was useful. The patio space would have been nice if we didn't go when it was so hot (lesson learned!).

Others might enjoy their time here, but a few things conspired to make this portion of our trip disappointing. It was very hot in Marseille when we went, and the air conditioning in the apartment was very weak. It didn't do much to cool the space. Also, when we got up from the bed, the wooden slats kept slipping, causing the mattress to fall into the bed frame. To top it off (no fault of the property) our car was broken into at the parking structure, Republique-- the one provided as free parking by the property. After we discovered that, we spent 3 hours at the police station filling a report and then we left the property. We didn't even stay for our second night.

Location.. Flat had plenty of appliances and good TV, Maps and English brochures about Marseille.. Balcony was amazing . Good radio, coffee machine .. Plenty of serving platters.. Free WiFi Free parking Fantastic food shop and cafe underneath flat...

Not met at property, agent texted pass code but we could not get in, a lady who lived there let us in after 20 minutes, agent never got back to us re any concerns. Wet washing left in washing machine, had to hang it out to get some dry spare towels.. only had sofa and hard dining chairs for 4 adults to sit on in lounge area.. Cracked wobbly floor tiles in bathroom, would not have let a child use the bathroom if had taken one.. Lamp not working in one bedroom.. Only 3 mugs for 4 people, had to buy one.. Poor bed linen, pillows were like large cushions.. Flat needed fresh decoration.

Clean, nice location, comfortable enough, walking distance to harbor

The apartment is is spacious and well equipped. There are two bedrooms, a large living room and a porch. Location is very central on the rue de republiq, about 10 minutes walk from the old port. beds are comfy and bathrooms were very clean. I liked the great photo collection on the toilet room walls.

Location is good, option of parking and good size balcony

Crockery and glasses which were chipped, no working dishwasher, air conditioning system inadequate. Appropriate bedding, ie comfortable pillows.
