The location of the hotel was good. It was close to shops and bars etc. The architecture of the building was lovely. The interior was renovated to a good standard. There were drinks in the fridge on our arrival. We were given a larger room because we had a lot of luggage. Marie stated that they had plans to have their own restaurant, but there was no sign of this being started.

The Booking.com advert does not tell you that the parking is a 5 minute walk away. Marie stated in her e-mail that the garage for parking was on a certain street, but in fact, did not give us the complete address. The GPS took us to a similarly named road about 5 kilometres away. She made excuses when we challenged her about it. It was a nightmare to find the the parking. We only did so thanks to the patience of some local people. We had a great deal of luggage and had to go to the garage 3 times to get it all, walking across the Square, backwards and forwards. Marie did help with the last load of our luggage. The breakfast was an excuse for a breakfast. We had to walk 5 minutes again to the café and were given a coffee, a glass of orange juice and a croissant. No jam or any butter. They could have put that on a tray in the room. The bed was too firm for me, and there was only one pillow. One of us used a cushion.

Breakfast served in bar on opposite side of square and options limited. Hotel location is fantastic for a visit to Cartagena and the hotel sky bar is great in warm weather. Only a few seconds walk to the main street of the city and secure parking only a hundred yards from the hotel. The staff member, Maria, was very pleasant and helpful

Schönes, großes, modern eingerichtetes Zimmer, ausgezeichnetes Bett, für die Innenstadtlage sehr ruhig. Viele Aufmerksamkeiten wie 1 Flasche Wein, gekühlte Getränke und Kaffee. Frühstück in der Bar Sol sehr gut. Geräumige Parkgarage in geringer Entfernung. Wenn man sich einmal mit der StaymywayApp vertraut gemacht hat, ist das Schlüsselsystem sehr praktisch. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The property looks like a very sympathetic and wonderful conversion of an old Spanish house. To be honest we liked everything about the property.

There was nothing we didn't like everything was wonderful

staff friendliness, attitude and support; amazing room with fully equipped kitchen (we used none, but good to know we had the possibility to), we loved the complimentary bottle of wine in the room and all the other included snacks and drinks, exceptional services included in the price (eg laundry); attention de details in every aspect, focus on art and sustainability, lovely rooftop bar; loved the large smart tv that was connected to internet and had all apps available and accessible. Overall the best place (vs all other 4* hotels) we stayed at during our 6 day tour of Andalusia

We loved the modern finishes in an older building. The fact that the mini bar was included, that breakfast was included, completely integrated kitchen with dishwasher. As we were there for more than one night, one bag of laundry was included. They also have a parking garage only 200m walk from the hotel (which is in the pedestrian area of town). But the best thing was Maria - she is a god send to the hotel and always ready to help if she can.

The only negative was the fact that the floor surfaces are hard so anyone scraping furniture or walking with hard soled shoes upstairs can be heard. There is also some renovation work still ongoing so there can be noise during the day

We liked the location and the place was cleaned each day. There is a nice rooftop terrace.

Sound traveled between walls and between floors. Breakfast was in a cafe across the square and we we needed to bring tokens to pay for this. They forgot to leave tokens for us on one day so we went instead to a different place. We asked for a refund of breakfast from the hotel and we were told that was our own fault as we should have delayed our breakfast, phone the manager on her mobile and wait until she arrived back to the hotel to get us our tokens.

It was all excellent! Great location, lovely apartment with all the things you need and more. Also - the service was great when it turned out that Booking.Com had never forwarded our money to them for payment. They were patient and helped us sort out the issue so that we didn’t have to pay twice!

Everything! Receptionist Maria was knowledgeable and helpful, Rooftop terrace, free minibar, breakfast included in a nearby bar, Nespresso coffee machine, secure parking, excellent location and very easy to use App for checking in and keys to parking and room.

Nothing to dislike

Stunning big, comfortable room in elaborately renovated, flower-bedecked mansion in a pedestrian street in Cartageno Old Town, a few minutes' walk from the port and the Roman amphitheatre. Free breakfast vouchers for a nearby cafe; valuable free parking (with EV charge point) in a secure, covered carpark building close by. Very helpful owners/staff.

The room prices aren't cheap; but significant benefits are included. Check-in involved a rather complicated and idiosyncratic app. When we struggled with this, the owners came to our aid.

Everything! Great communication, comfortable, well-designed room, lovely balcony, great location, generous touches (who ever heard of everything in the little fridge being free, plus enjoyed the local wine - also included), having parking (easy to find and app worked perfectly) and breakfast included was lovely, bed comfortable, nice recommendation for dinner, when we arrived a bit early they simply changed the programming on our automatic smart phone entry so we could get in. Had an elevator key because the elevator opened into our suite! Can't imagine that there's a better place to stay in Cartagena!

That we were only there one night!

Frühstück war in einer Bar vorreserviert, das soll aber irgendwann im Hotel stattfinden. Die Zimmer sind stylisch und gut ausgestattet inkl. Pantryküche.

Stunning property in a very central location with secure parking near by. Our apartment was beautiful and stocked with everything we needed. A fantastic place to stay and I would 100% recommend.

De service was geweldig, duidelijke communicatie van Gustavo. We hebben een extra dag bijgeboekt omdat we het zo fijn vonden. Ook fijn was het dat alle deuren open gingen via de app, zo konden we ook niet de sleutel vergeten. Aanrader!

Het was vrij gehorig, je hoort de kamer boven je als die wordt schoongemaakt, we waren er in het weekend en het was heel druk en levendig in de straat. Wel kan je alles goed afsluiten dat het geluid minimaal is.

Everything was nice

Very noisy, you could hear the street, which is very busy at night, with a nightclub, and also you cold hear the neighbors of the hotel. The breakfast was horrible in a bar closed by, and the first day it open so late that we couldn’t even go. Not nice considering how expensive the hotel was.

Locatie en luxe was top. Super dat je met een handige app overal kan binnengeraken wanneer je maar wil. Garage hebben in centrum Cartagena is top!

Jammer dat het personeel geen engels kon. Wel wat lawaai van bovenliggende gasten. Ontbijt niet in verhouding met rest van de accomodatie.

Mit dem Auto kann nicht direkt zur Unterkunft gefahren werden. Der Parkplatz ist aber nur ca. 100m entfernt.

As expected in a central city location, there was some noise from the street, only a problem if you like the windows open as we do.

Beautiful yet modern decor throughout - You can tell the building was newly renovated and was a wonderful 1 night stay at the property.

There wasn't much not to like!
