This VRBO offers all the comforts and amenities for an extended stay. The cottage is tucked away on the property and the deck is a perfect spot for stargazing away from city lights at night. An owl could be heard in the trees on the edge of the property.
We were not in town for beach time, but there is nearby access, corner store available at the closest resort as well as Deez restaurant which we recommend.

Super adorable cabin situated in a lovely piece of property with the beach just a quick jaunt down the road.
All kinds of great hikes, beaches and great food within a 30 minute drive in all directions.
The cabin itself was perfect. Had all we needed to make excellent meals. The king sized bed was a wonderful plus for my 6'3 husband.
A couple of small children could easily sleep on the pull out bed but I would not recommend for another adult. Definitely the perfect couple spot.

Beautiful location, nice unit. The shower is very tiny and hard to use - not recommended for a long stay. There is an open electrical panel covered by a picture next to the shower above the toilet which doesn't seem safe. Would have preferred a regular toaster to the old toaster oven. Good information provided by the host.

My husband, myself and brother shared this cabin on nautical Acres. It has an enclosed bedroom with a comfortable King sized bed. My brother slept on a comfortable pull out queen sized mattress built into the couch. There’s a small fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine. It’s very quiet, private property with a nice outside patio with a bbq. I never heard any outside noises and found it to be a peaceful location. It’s approx 1/2 block easy walk to Qualicum Beach. The property is approx 5-8 min from downtown Qualicum. We really enjoyed staying here , and would definitely return.

Robynn's place is exactly as described and pictured, exceeding both of those things. It is very clean and of good quality. The deck and acreage are very nice and private. Deer and rabbits frequent the place. It is a short two minute walk to the beach and very nice sunsets. Communication with the host is exceptional, prompt, and accurate. We would not hesitate to visit again.

Cottage is charming, and cosy. Very clean, private space. It is just the right size for two adults. The gas heater was a bit of fun with all the colour options. Well supplied kitchen items: good coffee and a combo pod/drip machine.
An issue is the table. It's easy to knock it and spill your drinks. The only other thing I'd do is reduce the decor items. When you bring in your own gear, you can find it becomes cluttered.

Very enjoyable stay, with eagles and deer close by for viewing. Robynn (owner) was extremely helpful and friendly. Could not have been nicer even though the weather did not cooperate.

We were very comfortable in this spotless little cabin. Very cozy and nicely furnished. Appreciated the very comfortable king bed! Had everything we needed including cooking items. Would stay again!

The check in instructions were clear, the place has everything we need as bd the bed very comfortable. It’s close to the beach and just a few minutes drive to town and nearby restaurants. We enjoyed seeing the bunnies roaming around our place. The only minor issue is that the water from the shower is quite weak and without a handheld, it was a bit difficult to use and wash off the soap.

Was the perfect spot for my kids and I to visit family and sightsee. Easy walk to the beach and easy driving distance to local attractions. The outdoor space is a lovely bonus and I appreciated the promptness and attentiveness of the hosts. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful weekend at Nautical Acres. The cottage is very well set out and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. The nearby beach is one I want to come back to again and again.... And the kids loved the bunnies and wildlife all around. Thanks Robyn! Hope to see you again.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin is very well stocked, with everything from salt/pepper to coffee and even some games for the kids. The king sized bed is a treat as well. Very close walk to the shore, and a delightful beach with plenty of wildlife close by.
Close to Qualicum Beach and Parksville is a short drive away.
The property owner was very nice and helpful as well.

overall, a good location down the road from a quiet beach just out of Qualicum Beach proper. A charming cottage, with a huge king-size bedroom and outside deck the best features. The host was attentive and friendly, and communication received very quick responses. The photos on the website do not show the closeness to the family house and work sheds, only towards the forest and paddock. (check satellite view before booking) The down side was the power in the little kitchen, which blows out if 2 appliances are even plugged in at the same time, nevermind on. But I loved the deer in the paddock, rabbits, birds and butterflies abound...

The two things most important to me in renting with VRBO is that the property is "as advertised" and the host is available and responsive. In that regard, this spot is fantastic! The place actually looked better in real life and Robynn was super! An added bonus is that the place is spotless and totally up to date. Also, bring a book. If the weather cooperates there's a nice little patio to do some reading!

This was the perfect little place for our young family. Great space for the kids to play, and a great location being so close to so much. When we showed up there were two deer in the yard!
They had everything we needed and then some. The kids loved that there were games and balls to play with and of course the smart tv. The bed was so comfortable and we enjoyed the evenings beside the firebowl on the deck.
Thanks to the hosts for making this stop on our Vancouver Island trip a memorable, relaxing one.

What a great location! So close to the beach!! The cottage was inviting, clean and had everything we needed. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable. The heated floor in the bathroom was an added bonus. Many activities to do around the area such as hiking at Englishman River Falls. Loved the easy contactless arrival. The hosts were very welcoming and made sure our weekend was everything we hoped for.
