Brand new decor and appliances with fab view of farm and pool. Amazing location. Hosts very accessible and treated me like family. I’ll be back FOR SURE! Pure comfort.

Laurel the host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Everything was beautiful, clean, and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxing. We got to meet the farm animals and her dog Ava, all of whom were sweethearts. Laurel gave us great local food recommendations, and had the refrigerator stocked with local milk, eggs, butter, and muffins. Gorgeous farm and property, super close to many food options, but feels like you are away from the city. Absolute 10/10

My wife and I honeymooned here on Ms. Laurel’s property and it was perfect from start to finish. Everything was beautiful and peaceful. The animals made the stay even better and Ms. Laurel was more than happy to introduce us to the horses and sheep. The fridge had fresh cream, eggs, and butter, as well as the most delicious Peaches and Crème loaf I’ve ever had. Like someone else’s review said, we were hesitant to leave a review because we want to keep this oasis a secret for future visits!

Clean & nicely appointed apartment. Location is excellent for visiting the Boston area. A car is a necessity.

Nifty apartment suited us perfectly for our North Shore visit. Hosts were wonderful and made us feel very welcome on their beautiful farm. Hope to come again.

We have used vrbo for years, this was one of if not the number one place we stayed. This is a perfect couple's getaway. It feels like you're in the middle of nowhere but you are six minutes from restaurants. You can hide away in the modern and immaculately clean rental, go through your sliding glass door to the inground pool, or ask Laurel to introduce you to the animals on site. Laurel was amazing. She lives on site, will give you complete privacy, text daily to see if you need anything, suggest restaurants only locals know about, and answer any questions you may have. Check in was super easy and the fridge was stocked with local eggs, butter, cream, and baked goods. Coffee pods were stocked and the Keurig was top notch. Super thoughtful. After you check in you really dont feel the need to go anywhere. I didnt want to leave a review. I'm selfish and would love to keep this a hidden gem but our stay was so amazing I had to make sure I posted a 5 star review.

Laurel's place is gorgeous and peaceful. The apartment is super clean, and the view is wonderful. Laurel was great to chat with as well as her husband. She put some muffins eggs, butter and milk in the fridge. I enjoyed sitting by the pool each morning until we got ready and were on our way. It is centrally located to so many things. We went to a concert in Topsfield (15 min), Salisbury beach (27 min) (There are closer beaches, but you need to go online and purchase day paces. There were none available for the weekend at Crane Beach or at Good Harbor & Wingersheek), Gloucester (18 min), and Rockport (27 min). Laurel had a list of restaurants they really enjoy. We chose to eat at the Boat House (3 min) and the food was delish! The bed was firm (I like it that way), but super comfortable. I will definitely stay here in the future!!!

First of all, I have to mention that the owners of this property are wonderful people. The backyard farm they own is "an oasis for animals in need" (her words), and is very clean and well kept. The animals are clearly well cared for and Lauren's love for them is obvious. As for the rental property, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in the Ipswich area. The apartment, recently renovated, is spotless and comfortable with everything we needed at our fingertips. Be warned, however, that July is greenhead (biting flies) season. On the farm, not much of a problem due to their fly-control efforts, but outside of there, it can be a problem, so bring bug spray! Lauren thoughtfully provided Skin-So-Soft and encouraged us to bring it along with us while sightseeing or going to the beach. She also had fresh eggs and butter, half-and-half, and a lemon-blueberry cake in the fridge on our arrival. What a welcome treat! The pool, which we did not take advantage of, is right outside the sliding glass door and it, too, is an oasis, being beautifully landscaped with plenty of seating options and pool floats available. If we weren't so busy sightseeing, we would have spent all our time enjoying the pool. The location is perfect for visiting Ipswich, just a drive of a few minutes. Appleton Farm is right around the corner; you could easily walk there. Gloucester, Newburyport, and Rockport are all within a half-hour drive. In a nutshell, when visiting Ipswich, stay here!

The property was bettern than expected. Convenient country location and beautifully equiped. Very comfortable accomodations.
