Lovely quiet location near friends. Very different from the hurly-burly of Shibuya or Shinjuku. Nice standing soba place for breakfast nearby. We also walked to Kagurazaka Saryō sweets restaurant which the women adored. IIRC there was a washer/dryer in the apartment which might have been handy except it was the start of our trip.

Ground floor apartment was dark. Except for the fiendishly bright blue aircon light flashing over the bed. We covered it with many post-it notes and clothing. As other reviewers noted, getting the keys takes a college degree.

Small but has everything you need for a few nights

1- the instructions I was sent didn’t highlight our room number or entrance code very well. Having no wifi I was very upset I wasn’t able to locate this information easily 2-Our key had been missing and was instructed to use the lock box on the emergency stairs. There were 10+ locks on the stairs and not knowing which room number was ours, was extremely frustrating.

The property is close to Edogawabashi station, secure and in a good neighborhood . The instruction for check-in are clear. The room is clean well furnished.
