Very old and dated room. Broken tiles, walls and door marked up, pictures on wall broken. Overall just run down.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I received. My inquiries and concerns were met with indifference and a lack of urgency.
Receptionists are unfriendly and unprofessional. They did not tell us the time breakfast is served. The room is very dark, damaged, and damp. The bed sheet is very wrinkled, and the sofa is dirty and ripped. There are rarely any washroom amenities. The entire room is smelly.
It is unacceptable to be treated with such disregard, especially when I am a paying customer. I expect better communication and a genuine effort to resolve my issues. I hope to see significant improvements in the future.

I was surprised not to find a wardrobe / closet in the room, nowhere to hang jackets or trousers.
The coat hooks on the bathroom door were not fixed correctly. Otherwise the room & bathroom were clean and there was tea/coffee making facilities as well as a microwave available in the room. I would certainly consider using it again if I visited the area.

This hotel is infested with cockroaches, we did not stay the night. Due to booking through hotels.com the refused to give us a refund. They were kind enough to offer us a 20% discound for the night. I just shake my head, if you know you have an infestation deal with it.

Nice location in Ajax, not far from the 401. We had a comfortable stay, but had lots of difficulty getting the TVs to operate (no remote controls available in the room, and when obtained we had to have one of the Roger's tv boxes charged as it didn't function). Front office staff were helpful in getting the problem fixed. The TVs should be checked to ensure they are operational before clients arrive for their stay.

The staff and location within walking distance to the go station were great. The pool is small but nice and warm (though the room too cold). The breakfast was plain but good. But the hotel needs some serious tlc. It's clearly a family run business which is awesome, but having 5 guys in suits around instead of 4 guys plus a handiman seems redundant.
