I had a great time staying at Melao Lodge. Heriberto was extremely friendly and one of the best hosts I had so far!
You can park the car in a gated area in front of the place. All in all great. Would stay again!

Extremely clean and very well done! Would stay here again and again, and recommend to all. Location is great if this is where you need to be always check before you book somewhere as some guests here were very unhappy with location. But that because they were expecting to be in San Juan. This place is totally fantastic!!!

This is a nice place to be and its about 7 minutes driving from Marbella Beach. It has an excellent service. Mr. Mendez was outstanding.

As a local you’ll know the area and feel comfortable in it - if you like the area. As a tourist, you’ll feel comfortable when you see every entrance way has a lock. From the front door, to the staircase to get into the area where the rooms are, to the rooms. Each lock has its own code. The parking also is gated and locked. The owner/security guy had me feel safe when he showed me he’s a retired police officer and had a firearm in his pants pocket - I assume loaded. The place was super clean and had hot water. I did actually get a good night sleep since the rooms are pitch black with no windows, so you don’t hear anything outside. The owner/security is such a nice guy and the place was decorated very well & astonishingly clean. I was fortunate and only 1 other room was occupied so it was quiet.
