Highly recommend this to any visitor to Calgary - just steps away from the riverbank, 20-30 minutes to downtown and 45 minutes to Prince's Island Park. Design is excellent. Service is great. Parking is not free but reasonable. Equipped with a pool table and board games, the common area is perfect for chilling out with family and friends.

Clean nice location, close to downtown. Only disappointments was no microwave or refrigerator in room and no pool or hot tub.

Modern hotel nicely located by the river - a bit sketchy at night. Lots of homeless folks around. No hotel parking but done available on street or public lots Rooms have comfy beds but are small. Weird semi transparent panel between bath and bedroom so when lights get turned on in the bathroom the bedroom gets lit up. Electronic controls for everything. No real restaurant but there’s a breakfast place next door open until mid afternoon and a sushi place open in the evening. Many options in the area and grocery store a couple blocks away. Very slow elevators. Pleasant helpful staff. Pet friendly and lots of places to walk just outside the door.

Good location and nice hotel/room. Pillows on bed could have been more thick/plush. Automated blinds are nice but gap between them lets in too much light

This was one of the loveliest hotels I have stayed at in a long time. The helpful staff, clean property and independent vibe was perfect for the few days we were in Calgary.

Booked a night as a staycation to get some time away from the kids and did not disappoint! Staff is friendly, the sheets and blankets are Egyptian Cotten and the hotel is very modern. It’s also located near the river for a convenience and across from the bike rental place. Def will be coming back!

Beautiful view and super modern hotel. Enjoyed it.

This a great hotel and the immediate area around has some great restaurants, very scenic, and close to the river. But its not in a vibrant area of the city. Caution for female travellers, get an Uber or Taxi when going to and from at night.

Hotel was average but I will never stay here again. Here is a list of things I experienced: 1. I had a light turn on randomly in the middle of the night and wake me up, 2. almost every time I got on the elevator I had someone from the hotel staff come in after a smoke break, it was just gross, 3. Parking is very expensive and the not very clear, 4. The front desk person did not explain very well the parking, room control panels, and even scribbled my room number so I couldn't read it (I had to ask them again what it was as they were going somewhere else in a rush), 5. Hot water is hit and miss, it changes a lot. Overall, not what I want in a hotel, I want to feel taken care of, rested, and safe, and this place failed. I'll be spending my money elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel, clean, helpful friendly staff!

Alt hotel has an edgy artsy vibe & was cozy at the same time! The clerk at reception desk was sweet & when I requested a higher floor for the very well priced corner suite.. we got top floor! The modern techy room & amenities was a fresh take while staying local.. felt like we were in Europe! The bed was comfy & the room was very clean. View of the river was amazing! There's a few great restaurants in the area too... the one in hotel was not open on the Monday we stayed. We will for sure be staying here next time we are in the area!

No hot water on second night, bathroom ceiling had been cut out and repaired but not taped, muddied and painted, bathtub didn’t drain - as a plumber this unit was given to us that would not have been acceptable to non Expedia customers No fridge, alarm preset to midnight waking up our 12 year old taking hours to get him back to sleep Not impressed this was supposed to be better and once we complained instead of discounting they offered a discount if we came and stayed again Not likey

Very clean. Good location near Confluence park but still walkable to down town. A fridge in the room would have been useful. Otherwise great.
