Starting with the good point(s), it is the location, but hard to find eny other good point.
If you are in a old town, you expect to have some kinf of view from you window, not just opposite wall.
Typical budget concept, if you e.g. book breakfast with reservation, it is decent price, but if you want on the spot, it is almost double etc etc extras...

The room was fine BUT as soon as we got into bed the nightclub 5m away across the passage started with EXTREMELY loud music and went on until about 6 AM. Couldn't get a wink of sleep. Swelteringly hot with windows closed (and still noisy), unbearable with them open because of the noise. Night staff very unhelpful when another guest asked for a room change, it didn't happen.
Make sure you see your room before accepting it.

An excellent location right in the heart of the old town. Check in was hassle free and the room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was tasty and good options.
The only two issues I had with the hotel was the lack of air conditioning in the room which meant I had to attempt to sleep with the windows open which meant a considerable amount of noise from the street from bars and late night revellers. Had my stay been longer I would probably have requested a room elsewhere in the hotel.
All in all the hotel was a reasonable price and was located perfectly for exploring the city.

Toilet was not cleaned properly, was urine stains on the toilet. People were smoking outside the main entrance, the cigarette smoke seeped into the window making it impossible to sleep with the window open.
In the breakfast it seemed like the hard boiled eggs were cooked the day before.

For example parking is paid, and you have to notify the receptionist at check-in, or you’ll be fined. Reaching out to hotel staff for help did absolutely nothing. The hotel is right in the Old Tallinn, and that’s the main reason I chose to stay here the first time, but I also received excellent service. The second time proved that without excellent service, I can find another hotel maybe not as close, but that would appreciate my business.

The city center - a great stay in the vicinity of dining, shopping, and old town places. The room I received was rather small, but okay for a night or two. The bed was comfortable and clean. The rug and the floor covers looked dated and ready to be replaced. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Early morning someone manipulate the door with noise and succeed to enter (seems without card, probably just open with a tool as doors are not great locked). Hopefully we wake up and the guy left, but we were afraid by this event. I informed the reception 2 time about that, that they must check their various cameras and warn the police and inform us, but they just don’t care about this incursion. So place to avoid if you want to sleep safe.

Two nights in the two room suite. The room was nice and I liked that there was a mini fridge instead of a mini bar. The spa bath tub was a pleasant experience. Noise from the street was occasional but not disturbing - we were there from Tuesday to Thursday, so things can be different on a weekend as there is a karaoke bar right across the street.

Perfect location in the Old Town. Gives an impression of being "outdated and worn". No smiling staff!
I was given a room on the 4th floor, with a view to another building in the same complex very close with distance maximum 4 metres. When, after dinner and a walk around the Old Town, I returned to the room. It then turned out that in the building I had a view of, there was a nightclub/bar with a terrace, also on the 4th floor. I had full access to the party! There was a full party and very loud music. This continued throughout the night. Absolutely hopeless!
On my request at reception the following morning, if this really wasn't something I should have been informed about? Was the answer, "at the risk of you taking me as rude, I would ask you to read the description of the hotel better! This is Tallinn, a party city, and especially here in the Old Town, and then there is music and parties" I have read through the description given on Rixwell's website of the hotel. There is nothing to indicate that here you must be set on sleeping to pounding high bass, and an outdoor party on the terrace of the building 4 meters away.
I cannot recommend this hotel and will naturally never stay there again

Nice hotel located just inside the old city walls, with large rooms, maybe slightly dated, but exceptional value for money. Friendly staff, and a great bakery/cafe underneath called Rukis which did great breakfasts. Would definitely stay again

Great location just within the city walls, close to major old town sights and also 2 supermarkets about 3-4 blocks away.
Staff was pleasant and helpful.
Room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed.
I would stay here again.
