The hotel was clean and weel kept, though older and a mish mash of furniture. A good sized mini fridge with separate freezer and microwave. Plenty of towels and pillows. Room reset daily by housekeeping. A little seating area in the front hallway that looked over the parking lot. AC was a window unit and had a hard time keeping up. Mattresses were worn out, but pillows were ok. A proper drip coffee maker was a plus. Nice and quiet, off the main road. Easy walk to short and long sands beach as well as nubble lighthouse. No breakfast, but coffee offered all day in the lobby. Didn't use the pool or hot tub, but they seemed clean and well kept as well.

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We had a great stay (again)!

Friendly staff at the office, clean room and a beach decor giving it a peaceful vibe.

Without pre-planning we ended up at The Lighthouse Inn. Lovely spot with everything we wanted to experience steps away.

Very basic but clean room. If all you desire is a place to stay while you explore York and the surrounding towns with little or no time in the room, then this is fine. Do not expect an “Inn” experience. Short walking distance to long sands. We won’t stay here again when there are so many other good places to stay with a water view. We were disappointed but not unhappy.

Overall we had a nice stay. The A/C in our room didn’t blow very cold and the floor just inside our door was very soft and spongy so likely rotting out. The hot tub was great and the walk to either long sands or short sands beaches was very short.

This property is wonderful, clean rooms and great pool. Staff was excellent. We will be back.

Lovely spot within 5 minutes of the beach

It was quiet and uncrowded but close to everything. Pool was great.

Great stay. Wish I’d stayed longer. Staff kind and helpful. Rooms plenty of space. Couch not comfortable and TV small. Bathroom in need of some general maintenance, nothing major. Overall great stay and I’d go back again!

Had the best stay this weekend, pool and hot tub hit the spot during this blah weekend. Rooms were so clean, and staff was amazing. Would definitely stay again!

My stay was short and I did not need housekeeping services, so I cannot rate that. Otherwise, it was great. All the amenities I like (microwave, fridge, coffee machine, etc.) Very clean room when I arrived -- it even smelled good! Loved the walk to and from Short Sands and the Goldenrod restaurant, as well as to Long Sands.

Renovated with a rather odd layout due to it being a former homes I believe. some big stairs to climb in the back! Nice pool and hot tub.
