very convenient, clean, quiet, friendly staff. The breakfast was well presented and good.

Entrance to the hotel is hard to see at night. Need reflectors or lighting. There is a pothole at the line of property and street that we hit once. It needs to be fixed.

The room was clean. Bed mattress and box spring needs improvement. Was to bouncy. The hotel smelled heavenly. Must have an air diffuser. You all need help with breakfast. Keep enough food to last the entire time. Keep every dish well stocked. Many guests complained. Also remember to ensure hand sanitizer station works properly and have gloves available. Especially since the hotel note asked us to put them on at the beginning of serving line.

I booked several weeks ahead of time. When we arrived the desk clerk told us our reservation had been cancelled that morning. I NEVER cancelled it and she stated Booking.Com does it all the time to people. I told her well we didn’t do it and I never got notified by Booking.Com. So we contacted Booking.Com and they said they didn’t do it and they called the hotel for us. What the hotel did was over book for the college football game and they gave our room away and blamed it on Booking.Com. The only room they had was handicap which neither of us are and we don’t like staying in those particle rooms. The room was not cleaned, shower was dirty with what looked like feces and the beds had stains. The smell was horrible. We had no choice because the town was booked due to college game being played there which is why we were there to watch our son play. We have stayed at a lot of Marriott’s but this one was the worse by far. Plus they charged us more than what I had booked my room for. You would have though since they screwed up they would have taken care of us but no way! Marriott we are done with you, there are better places to stay! Never stay here in Marshall if you go!!

Location

Booked a Queen double, given a king. Door wouldn’t close properly without force and housekeeping left the door open all day as we were out with our belongings unsecured. We were out 9 hours. DOOR OPEN TI THE PUBLIC.

The gentleman working the desk that evening was exceptional. He handled himself well under pressure and a lobby full of guest checking in. He was very quick to help us switch rooms when the room we were given smelled like smoke.

First room were given smelled like someone had been smoking in it for a while. The housekeeping even left the Ozone machine in the room. BUT the hotel was quick to switch out our rooms and the rest of the stay was great.

Great staff with a clean room and quiet. Stayed here before and have always been very satisfied.

I didn't know you had to request house keeping if your stay is for more than one day, during booking my reservation. Also microwave didn't work and telephone had no plug in.
