Nice and quiet, beautiful indoor pool area

Well I show up for check in on October 2nd 2022 and the hotel is not even open it’s being under renovation for months according to the construction workers there nobody has sent me an email or called me confirming that the hotel was even closed and I drove all the way over there and didn’t have a room luckily my brother found me a room at a different hotel online. So yes I’m very dissatisfied with Ramada inn in Diamondhead Mississippi. And I’m very dissatisfied with booking.com for not keeping up with what’s going on at the hotel.

Pool was empty rooms didn't have towels very big place but I did get to meet Elvis the security guy

Rooms were disgusting, the tub was cracked and moldy, bathroom vent was broken and stuffed with a rag, floors were very poorly swept, bedsheets were obviously not changed on one side

the staff was great and helpful
walking into our room we immediately noticed a roach crawling on the wall.. and later that night I spotted two outside the bathroom door. the rooms could use a lot of update.. it’s very dingy and smelt like cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room..

The indoor pool was torn apart, the outside covered room was ice, completely ran down
The pool being closed, the rooms were nasty, no microwave, it really has went down. The outside indoor room to hang by the pool used to be an awesome hang out spot, but now it's just a room with no lighting, no pool, no music, no heat, not inviting at all. I hope they remodel and bring back the atmosphere I came to expect and have enjoyed for over 20yrs now. It's was my go to favorite destination. Sad to see it like this.

worst property ever. wires hanging everywhere. fire alarm was ripped out. shower water would not shut off. NASTY PLACE

There was no breakfast here.
The indoor pool that was advertised was not functioning. This was the .ain reason for the choice of the hotel, having an indoor pool. Everything was terrible and ran down here. It was filthy. The carpet was sticky.... housekeeping didd nothing.

Staff was very nice and very helpful!
Loved the location of this hotel. Close to restaurants and gas stations and right off the highway.
Pool was being renovated. Jacuzzis was lukewarm which was ok but didn’t want to get in since the facility was freezing. The main doors stayed opened and it was 30 degrees outside. Side note- Hotel owner needs some major renovations to spruce up this hotel and make it a nicer stay. Hotel had a restaurant inside but its shut down which was a bummer as well.

This is a very inexpensive hotel. It is not clean, there are bugs. But for the price, what would you expect? The staff are exceptionally helpful and kind. Moving to a different room went smoothly.

Windows were cracked in room and hazed over..no secure door locks on my door..felt unsafe in area.
