Spacious accomodation on first floor of an older character house. plenty of room for family 2+2 or friends. Facilities included to suit home cooking there but plenty of Tavernas nearby ranging from cheap to expensive. Supermarket only one street away and breakfasts from nearby bakery too. This is not a modern house but one of character, dont expect pristine or luxury but good value for the area.

Some attention to decoration and maintenance needed. (flaky ceiling paintwork, dead light bulbs, windows needed painting too) No big issues that just detract from an otherwise great place.

Location was good ,about 100 mts to port.Unfortunately this accomodation was very bad due to no AIR CONDITIONING!!!You cannot possibly stay in Hydra with temperatures over 30 and 35 in August with just fans throughout the house.We were drained from lack of sleep and dripping sweat throughout the day.We dreaded coming to the accomodation every single night and tried to keep cool on the balcony if at all.The photos are correct in booking.com with all the trimmings of a authentic’Guest House’ but totally disappointing when you are just dying from the heat.Bed in front room not good and basically you sleep on the tiled floor to keep your body cool.I am sorry to say all this but there were 4 of us so excited to come to Hydra only for all 4 of us to suffer in a sauna!!

NO AIR CONDITIONING ,!!!!beds uncomfortable,too much furniture and lots of little fans all over the place. Beware that if you are coming in the hot summer months ,you will swelter from the heat in the house..Very little air passing through the accomodation.

the place was beautifully decorated and well located, warm and had all you can ask for. it felt more like a real old house then a guest house and we loved it. the host was kind and welcoming and we enjoyed every minute there

Angela's Appartment is absolutely lovely and in the best possible place of Plaka!! It is not allowed to drive into the street with the car so it is abolutely quiet.
