Que no haya restaurante; y que justo estaban haciendo arreglos/refacciones, pero no lo informaron y nos dimos cuenta una mañana que nos despertaron golpes en la pared (en la cabecera de la cama) y una rejilla que se cayó en la habitación de uno de mis hijos, en tanto en la 3ra se sintieron las vibraciones. Cuando lo informamos en recepción, nos ofrecieron sin cargo un servicio de desayuno para el.día siguiente.

There was nothing that was acceptable about this property

There are heavy earth mover and cranes for construction outside the window of rooms they put us in. No notice or disclosure of construction or noise. We were tricked and never told about construction and woken up very early to very very loud noise for hours. They moved us to a smaller room the second night to get away from the noise and made us pay full price for the larger room we were moved from. They said the noise was not on their property so was not their responsibility! They also wanted to know why we didn't call as soon as we heard the noise. The phone in the room has no buttons to reach the front desk and no instructions how to reach the hotel front desk or help. Never seen anything like it in my life. Agreed to late check out as accommodation for noise then called next day and said we must immediately vacate the rooms while we were out in the city. We rushed back to vacate the rooms and lost our money at the activities we paid for. They lied and said they never agreed to the late check out. What a dishonest, manipulative hotel.

La ubicación es excelente, está sobre la avenida y frente al Museo del Prado, hay varios restaurantes cerca y tiendas. La atención del personal es excelente, todos son muy amables y dispuestos a ayudar. Las instalaciones están en muy buenas condiciones, la habitación es amplia y las camas muy cómodas. El desayuno es variado y la comida es muy rica. La relación costo-calidad es excelente.

Perfect location and we got a free upgrade because it was our wedding. Rooms are a bit old but attention was great.

Nuestra habitación tenia el tamaño justo, Matrimonio Lehuede, Cerda, pero la que le asignaron a nuestros amigos matrimonio Del Fau Gil, era demasiado estrecha., siendo ambas de la misma categoria. En el snack ubicado en el primer piso junto a la recepción, encuentro que hacía falta unos emparedados de mejor calidad y que se pudieran calentar, para acompañar los combinados. Los pasteles, vinos y champagne ricos.

Great location. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The breakfast is very rich.

The standard rooms are very small, especially compared to other hotels in the area and also in comparison to other NH hotels. Also the Upgraded room isn't really larger and isn't worth the extra payment. I would choose another hotel in Madrid next time.

The overall quality of the hotel was excellent, with high quality finishes and very helpful staff.

The bathroom was small, only big enough for one person to use at a time. So as a couple it took much longer to get prepared in the mornings and evenings. However, the biggest problem was the breakfast. At over EUR30 per person to eat breakfast in a basement with no windows, in a serve yourself arrangement and the “hot” food was all stone cold with no means of keeping the food warm was incredibly poor value. I had to ask a member of staff to cook some hot food for me. I would value the breakfast at EUR10-15 per person. It’s possible to walk a few hundred metres from the hotel and sit outside in a nice avenue or square and have a cooked-to-order breakfast brought to your table and that is what we did the other days we were at the hotel as we were on vacation and had plenty of time. Probably not possible if you are on business and in a rush. The hotel needs to review the quality and price of it’s breakfast offer.

The location was great and the rooms more than adequate for what we needed. The main purpose of our trip was to visit the Prado, and the location of this hotel was perfect for it.

The room had minimal natural light, because of the windows looking into an inner courtyard. It wasn't a big problem, since we spent most of our day out and about.

Excellent location and staff, the Guest relations in charge Jasmine went out of her way to make our stay comfortable! Had a great time and will be back 😄

Fantastic location. Good shower in the bathroom.

Breakfast was good but the staff seemed disinterested in helping us if we asked for anything other than what we could help ourselves to. Room tired and not what we would have expected of a 5 star hotel.

The hotel has a perfect location, right by Neptune's fountain and very close to Gran Via and El Prado. The lobby and the breakfast area are very nice but the room was dark and not as clean.

Room a bit small but spotlessly clean, well-equipped and everything works. Great location. Very reasonable prices. Polite, professional & well-informed staff (Laura at Customer Service desk, in particular). Generally a pleasure.
