The breakfast is only toasted bread. The hotel can include few more things.

Rooms had a particular odor more like a new paint smell, may be because of the carpet. If the odor was not there, the stay would have been excellent.

The staff was great and the location was spot on, it is a little brisk walk to the train station.

I do hope they do get the Internet fixed.

The place is not clean, very smelly, I cannot bear to take a shower even with enclosed bathroom. The mattress are dented, I cannot sleep. Given the condition, it is highly overpriced.

Lovely location. Bus stops a 2-3-minute walk away. Longer walk to Haw Par Villa MRT station but can take the bus too. Quite comfortable rooms. Water dispensers at the entrance and at the landing.

Wish bathrooms had a shower enclosure so that the rest of the bathroom floor can stay dry. No lift so expect to carry luggage up the stairs.

Location was good, very calm and bus station was very close by.

Beds were not comfy.

it’s perfect for us! they even have washing machine & dryer which are very helpful! very clean place & accommodating staff.

1 comment if there is, sometimes when people at the lobby are noisy, it’s heard inside the room. but that’s not the property’s issue. just some guests are noisy haha

Complimentary breakfast supply is inconsistent. We stayed four days. First day bread had ran out before 9am. Last day bread was not yet served when we had to leave at 9am.

The room is clean, decent, and livable.

During purchase, was prompted to select 2 single beds or 1 large double bed, picked one large double bed, but after payment done on check in was given 2 single beds. upon check in, then realise that there is a secret phrasing (if available) beside the option. The options menu are ambiguous or the person who set up the hotel page at booking.com does not use english as the main language and does not understand or purposely set ambiguity in his/her phrasing. to make listing sound good for value, beware, if you pick the double shared room. picking 1 large double bed does not guarantee you a 1 large double bed. Take note of the phrasing (if available) , the guest staff expects you to understand its meaning based on that 2 words, that is the large single bed is subject to availability only which i believe most of the time it isn't, and that option is merely there to make it loook like good value for money until you check in then they give you a silly crampy tiny twin bed nothing like any of the photos in the listing. 0 stars for the fraudulent hotel webpage. lack of business etiquette and heck care moron and their poor phrasing. if you are not good in English, better to hand it over to some AI translator to do your job. I protested to the staff, she defended that the listing did mention: "IF available", we can hire a lawyer and linguist expert to prove that her phrasing is ambiguous and inaccurate listing to make the listing better than it actually was, but we are exhausted and dont want to ruin our valentine day mood. That aside, I top up 85$ to get the deluxe double room, unfortunately, the water heater is leaking water. and the water hose pressure is weak. As my partner and I were exhausted after a long day outing, we accepted that make-up room for $85 with a defective shower room. The rest of the stay was stable.
