The room was clean and comfortable, with a kitchen. It had a nice reading area and a balcony that looked out to the ocean.

A room on the second floor would have been much more private. On the first floor there are people and golf carts going by all the time.

Prime location. Excellent staff. Very nice place to stay to enjoy Caye Caulker. Would have no hesitation booking here again.

The big problem here was we booked for two nights only to be told that each night would be in a different room and we would have to check out and the re check in on the second night. At first they tried to blame booking but in the end it came out that there system does it automatically they said it was a fault but I doubt they have plans to fix it. we did get an email telling us we had 24 hours to cancel but unfortunately this again wasn’t true you have till midnight on the day of booking so by the time we got the email and investigated somewhere else it was to late

Jan’s hotel was centrally located, but far away enough from the big clubs that it was also quiet and relaxing. easy walk to anywhere on the island. the beach area and top patio were a great retreat. the staff were kind and professional and very helpful. check in/check out and getting to/from the airport was a breeze.

This hotel is located very central to the Split (a few minutes walk), which is where the main hub of activity on the island is in the day time. It is also a few minutes walk in the other direction to lots of restaurants and bars. The staff here are so lovely and welcome and the rooms are clean and well equipped. The wifi is strong.

Nothing! Would be wonderful if there was a pool but you look out the door and there is the beach.

At least for the ground floor rooms: heavily overpriced.

We went for my birthday and they put cute little flowers and a Happy Birthday sign up with balloons around the bed. 5. Rooftop lounge area 6. GREAT water pressure for the shower 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 This hotel was absolutely wonderful aim the best location. My best advice would be to grab some street food a block down or hit the Swing Bar for their lobster curry. Both were absolutely great! The island is the perfect size for walking everywhere and Jan’s Hotel was smack dab in the middle with a perfect view.

Location to the split and restaurants was great! the staff was very friendly and helpful. they organized pick up at the watertaxi for free and brought us to the airport as well! the place was clean and had AC. it even has a small section of beach across the street to sit at an enjoy the sunrise!

Great location, clean and comfortable rooms. They offer a ferry pick up/drop off which made getting to the hotel really easy.

Loved the service - we asked for an airport transfer and help with the water taxi. They had a driver meet us at the airport, they purchased our ferry tickets (and checked us in), and met us at the dock at Caye Caulker. Very helpful!
