The owners are very welcoming and we felt safe! The metro is 2minutes away which we found extremely handy.

There was some bugs in the shower but we got used to them since we were tired of exploring the city.

The hotel itself was excellent. I was hesitant to book it after reading some negative reviews, but I certainly don't regret it- we had a great stay. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was adorable. It was spacious enough, staff was really nice and helpful. Worth it's money, but is far from luxurious if that's what you're after. The neighborhood is sketchy, but the location is central and convenient for moving around the city.

If you're looking for a neat, clean, calm and quiet neighborhood, this is not the place for you to stay. Prepare for random clumps of hair on the street and mostly African habitants.

I like the price being relatively cheap. and the room is big.

First of all, the bathroom smells so bad that you can smell it in the bedroom. And it is not clean at all, I see flies sometimes and you can literally hear the noise including neighbours clapping their hands maybe for 20 minutes? and the bedsheet, you could clearly see some white stains, you can only guess what that might be. There is no lift, I told the stuff via booking that i need a room in the lower floors, still they gave me a room at top floor, leaving me carrying my 2 huge luggages to 5 floor (actually 6 if you do not use the french way of counting floors).

The check in process was very simple and quick. It was super. The check out process was also quick and very flexible – they allowed me to stay 1 extra hour for work. The staff are super lovely.

The shower head and towel holders were broken. The room smelled very strongly of smoke. Cleanliness could be better.

It's OK located.

Just about everything. Run down building. Bad neighborhood. Leaky shower peeling paint. Mold growing.
