Staying at Villa Denise is not like staying at a hotel or a bed and breakfast. It’s like staying with dear friends who just happen to be excellent cooks, immaculate housekeepers and have a quaint Italian villa on a quiet hillside with a gorgeous view. We chose to stay at Villa Denise because it was so economical and extremely well-rated on the Booking app. Thankfully, the reviews did not overstate how lovely this place is. Fabrizio was our first contact and he made us feel right at home immediately. He is the person who does a little of everything, from concierge to shuttle driver and made getting from Dal Patriarca Ristorante where we parked our car (and enjoyed a few delicious meals) to Villa Denise a breeze. Villa Denise is somewhat remote but the shuttle Fabrizio provides makes staying there accessible and easy to manage. Fabrizio and his parents, Denise and Giovanni, run Villa Denise together and it is a seamless operation. Fabrizio makes the arrangements for guests and drives them short distances. Giovanni and Denise do the cooking and breakfast was always delicious. They all made us feel extremely welcome, like part of the family while giving us plenty of space to feel comfortable. The back patio and front driveway of Villa Denise overlook the beautiful Gulf of Naples with a view so lovely that it was difficult to want to go do anything else! But go we did and Fabrizio made arrangements for us and was always available to help us get where we needed to go, within reason, of course. If all this weren’t enough, the rooms are comfortable and immaculately clean. You know how dust collects in window corners or on baseboards? Well, that does NOT happen here. Everything, inside and out, was extremely clean and well-maintained. It’s also very secure. For example, the alcoves that house 2 or 3 rooms has a lock on the outside so that we went through 2 locked doors to get to our room. It felt extremely safe.

Everything was perfect. Denise and her family went out of their way to make the stay perfect! Delicious breakfasts daily, beautiful room with an amazing view. Villa was spotlessly clean, pool was refreshing, having a drink or dinner looking out over vesuvius was a dream. Shuttle to Seiano station was great and the trains were easy to use and regular. There is a gorgeous restaurant 10 mins walk away up a hill as well as others to explore with a short walk or in nearby Vico equense or Sorrento. Already planning our next visit and recommending this place to our friends!

Villa Denise is an exceptional villa in a stunning location with breathtaking views of Mount Versuvius and the Gulf of Naples. Denise, Giovanni & Fabrizio are the most wonderful family who made sure our stay with them was perfect. The gardens, terraces and pool are kept in impeccable condition with Giovanni constantly attending the garden. Lovely fresh breakfast is served on their beautiful terrace; the omelette and cakes are a must! Thanks to Fabrizio & Giovanni for driving us to and from the local train station and restaurants and no request was ever too much trouble. We felt so welcome during our stay, we simply did not want to leave!!

The stay at Villa Denise was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTICO, it went way beyond all our expectations (which were already very high). First, the family running the villa (Denise, Fabrizio and Giovanni) were some of the most welcoming, kindest and warmest persons we have met on the Amalfi Coast, they really did everything under their power to make our stay unforgettable (amazing breakfast with different options every day, sparkling clean and comfortable room, great recommendations and help with commuting outside the villa). Second, what a VIEW - absolutely BREATHTAKING and the location really allows you to go everywhere on the Amalfi coast while staying at a less crowdy and touristy area :) Finally, you could really feel that Denise, Fabrizio and Giovanni are passionate people who just love what they are doing - we had many great conversations with the family and this definitely gives you this extra something to make the trip amazing and unforgettable !

Good selection of food. Lovely fruit - watermelon, peaches and sometimes blackberries or figs from the garden. Pastries and different cakes each day. One day they made us dinner with 3 different dishes - seafood salad, mozzarella and tomatoes and aubergine parmigiana. This was finished off with fruit panacotta or chocolate fondant. Absolutely delicious!

We can confirm all previous reviews: what a terrific place! Denise, Giovanni and Fabrizio did everything to make our stay unforgettable. The rooms are nicely decorated, freshly painted, and impeccably clean. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast, with a breathtaking view of Mount Vesuvius and the sea, offers a lot of choices and is of very good quality. We came by train: a good choice because of the heavy traffic, and Fabrizio (so friendly!) brought us to the nearest train station whenever we wanted. It is fairly easy to reach Sorrento, Pompeii, and even Mount Vesuvius. We can highly recommend this place!!

Just occasionally you come across a truly exceptional property and Villa Denise is that! From the moment of arrival you are treated like an honoured guest - something the family take great pride in. Denise, Giovanni and Fabrizio make it look effortless but you know such attention to detail requires hard work! The villa, its pool and gardens are truly special and you feel like you are the only guests. Denise is very proud of her breakfast menu and so she should be! Fabulous start to the day for any guest. Facilities wise everything is first class and the view really has to be seen to be believed. Wi-Fi extends comfortably to the outside areas. Fabrizio will drop you to the suburban train or local restaurants, leaving you to have a totally relaxing holiday. In summary we most definitely will be back to Villa Denise and if you want a special place to stay - don't miss it.

Beautiful little B&B (4 rooms) with breathtaking view. Very, very, very kind owner familiy who are really interested in your well-being and your comfort. Well organized and just an extraordinary feeling. The daily breakfast is amazing, fruits out of the own garden, homemade Omelette and Cakes and litte specialities from local bakery. The owners are very helpful in every situation (scooter rent, shuttle Service, booking trips, ect.). Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing place, we loved everything. The location is perfect and the facilities and views are beautiful. So many nice touches like getting your own beds by the pool and spot for drying swimwear. The hotel is spotless and so comfortable! Great location for seeing Pompeii and Herculaneum. Fabrizio and Denise went out of their way to ensure our visit was perfect (including lots of lifts to the station and restaurants as we didn't drive and an ice pack when I sprained my ankle!). Thank you both so much! The breakfast was incredible and the different item each morning was great. The cheese omelette were perfect and I wish I could cook that well! We ate one night at the villa and the food was delicious and great value. We will both be returning for another stay. The photos don't do it justice, its even prettier in real life!!

They went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time!

Villa Denise is a little slice of paradise. Denise, Giovanni and Fabrizio went above and beyond to make every little aspect of our stay enjoyable and comfortable. They truly care about their guests and it shows. Our room was large and very comfortable, with a very comfy bed and a window with the most breathtaking views of Mount Vesuvius and the Gulf of Naples. The terraces were lovely to relax on, again with incredible views, and made comfortable and picturesque by Giovanni’s beautiful garden. Denise provides a delicious breakfast with lots of options, and we also had very tasty dinners at the villa which can be added as an extra. Fabrizio and Giovanni helped us out by giving us a lift to the nearest train station and to and from local restaurants in the evenings and all our hosts were kind, thoughtful, and interesting to talk to. We really felt as though we were at home, and we met several guests who had stayed at the villa before and loved it so much they wanted to return. I simply cannot recommend this villa enough. If you are wondering whether or not to book it, don’t hesitate. What a wonderful location and kind, thoughtful hosts. A perfect week!

This is an amazing B&B. The patio area and gardens are immaculate and beautifully kept. Denise and family could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was SUPERB. Also the views were breath taking from our bedroom and patio area.

Despite it being a 10 minute walk to the car park up steps, in fairness to the family they provided an all day shuttle service. The bed frame was quite creaky when one moved in the bed, other than that the bed was comfortable.

this warm and hospitable Italian family made us feel very welcome. Beautiful and multiple spots on the premises to relax, swim, enjoy the view and eat or drink. Full view of the hectic and busy Italian coastline, but still quiet enough to have a holiday feeling. The "taxi" service by Fabrizzio to the parking lot can be called upon any time.

We challenged ourselves to walk to the parking lot when we needed the car, which is a brisk and especially steep 10-12 minute walk. It got better each time, but coming from a land of flatness, there was a lot of huffing and puffing...

Don’t know where to start! It was all perfect. We stayed 4 days in total. We were welcomed so warmly by Denise and her family that we felt like home! The view and the whole atmosphere was excellent! Fabrizio the son of Denise helped us a lot and is always with a smile in his face. We took our car to the Villa even though the streets are narrow, its possible :). Breakfast was served every morning individually and delicious. Locker and air condition in the rooms, towel service every day and the view from the room made it perfectly! We will come back

Our stay with Denise and her family was perfect. They took very good care of us from the beginning, helping us with every question we had, recommending really good restaurants and beaches around the area. The room is very clean and getting cleaned every morning They treat us like family and we felt very welcome indeed Thank you, we will definitely be back again!

The apartment overall was amazing. The Villa has everything you need. The staff is amazingly friendly, kind, and ready to help you with anything all the time 24/7. The view is magnificent. Breakfast is perfect. The room was so big and perfectly clean. We really felt like home. I totally recommend this accommodation.

Spectacular views from our breakfast table and poolside. Fresh fruit and pastries every morning and great coffee. The family that ran the B&B where very friendly and helped us out with our boat tour needs and were very helpful with dinner recommendations. Fabritizio (sp) was wonderful taking us back and forth to the parking area!
