Beautiful house with everything one would need for their stay at Sete Cidades. José was an excellent host and we'd love to come back again soon! Highly recommended, close to the best places in the area

Our stay at Lagoons House in Sete Cidades was extraordinary. From the moment we entered the house, we felt at home. The house is superbly equipped and clean, has beautiful views over the village and the lake and the location is unbeatable. It is the perfect place to disconnect, relax, get to know how the locals live and enjoy the overwhelming nature in the surroundings. I highly recommend you to stay at this beautiful house. Also José is such a heartwarming and generous host!

Very nice location in town. We were able to walk to most things, morning fresh bakery bread was great. Host was very helpful came by to answer any questions and the place was clean.

The accomodation is very beautiful, amazingly decorated and equipped. There's everything you need. It is in an excellent location. We couldn't ask for more. The owner Josè is so lovely and helpful. Loved it!

It is a lovely and cosy house and has everything that one needs. José was really friendly and also provided some welcoming sweets. Thank you! 😊 In addition, the location of the house in Sete Cidades is perfect. It is close to the Bus stop and the small center and it is also possible to start the hikes from there. I travelled without car and if you are a good hiker it is possible to use a track going up the mountain very close to the house. I really liked Lagoon's House and can fully recommend it.

Fantastic location for exploring the walks around Sete Cidades Property had everything you need and was well maintained and clean Jose was an exceptional host. He helped us out with a predicament and went above and beyond.

The house was very cosy, the living and rooms spacious. The location is in one of the most beautiful green places of Acores. Good possibility for walks and discovering traditional village life. The host Jose Joao is most welcoming and helpful, always reachable for advice. On arrival he showed us around and we were welcomed with a bottle of red wine and little cakes.

The location is everything you need if you want to enjoy the scenery of the area around. Parking spot just across the street and Jose was really really helpful

That we didn’t stay longer

We really enjoyed the quality of the place and the warming welcome from the owners of the house. Also the equipment made us enjoy our journey, the boat was a real blast ! Furthermore, the landscapes were absolutely breathtaking! We would love to come back to see more of the island.

very helpful owners - welcomed to local wine and cakes on entry. house was exactly as described. short walk to supermarket and lake. bbq came with all the fuel and fire starters. plenty of parking space. theres also a canoe and two life jackets available to use. overall great house, service, and value for money!

some people have written negatively about the humidity; if thats going to be an issue for you, then perhaps you’ve chosen the wrong islands to visit!

Lovely house, very peaceful surrounds! Good location to enjoy the scenery’s and activities of that part of the island.

The house was very comfortable. Nice views and well located. I have not met the owner, however he left a small welcome package well sufficient to cover my breakfast of 2 days and a bottle of white wine. The house has a backyard large enough to host a car. Small plus there is a small supermarket next door and a bigger one at 10 min walk. I do certainly recommend the use of this place.

The house was centrally located and well-furnished, with a very well-equipped kitchen. The welcome and service were friendly and helpful. The kayak and outdoor sitting area were great. We enjoyed our stay there very much!

The bed was rather small and hard - it would be good to add a thin, soft mattress on top.

Jose was amazing, he was there waiting for us when we arrived. He gave has very helpful information, including the webcams for the various locations on the island so we could see where it was raining and avoid the worst parts of the storm. He gave us free wine, cake, and fruit.

The beds were very firm. It made it a bit hard to sleep but otherwise the place was amazing!
