È un ottimo posto per rilassarsi dopo una lunga giornata di sci, trekking o mountain bike. Per un piccolo deposito porta il tuo amato cane. Pack & Play e seggiolone disponibili per i bambini più piccoli.
Perfetto per una multi-famiglia con 3 camere da letto al piano superiore e 2 al piano di sotto. Ottimo anche per una lunga settimana di sci o escursioni con tanto spazio per distendersi. Il garage, la stanza del fango e gli ami per lo stoccaggio in tutta la casa, rendono facile organizzare l'organizzazione per tutte le attività. Prova le racchette da neve che sono disponibili per il tuo uso! Ampio parcheggio antistante per tre veicoli in un quartiere molto tranquillo e silenzioso a 550m, a un chilometro e cambio dall'ingresso alla stazione sciistica del Purgatory. Solo 30 minuti dal centro di Durango e 20 minuti da Silverton. Bella casa, serena e super conveniente per le escursioni e molte attività all'aria aperta, un sacco di spazio e comodi. Questa affascinante baita di montagna è circondata dall'affascinante bellezza del Colorado e offre una fuga tranquilla. Puoi vedere cervi, alci e altri animali selvatici fuori dalla tua finestra.

Easy to get to. Close to resort. Clean and great communication. Would love to have had a hose to clean mountain bikes. No spigot I could find

Great house, location, and property manager. There’s lots to do and see outdoors in this area. The immediate community (Lake of the Pines) is very scenic and we were fine not venturing out one of the days of our stay. I highly recommend walking or biking to the neighborhood lake.

The Pinecone Cabin was an optimal place for our ski team to stay in. Really close to Purgatory Ski Resort, but tucked away in a great location. The house was very clean and had plenty of room to stretch out. We will definitely look to stay here again if we ever come back!

We were there for a skiing vacation. The home was a good fit for our family of 9. It was in a beautiful, peaceful setting surrounded by snow. One of my favorites was the long walk we took on the maintained snow covered road that went from the house to a private snow covered lake nearby. Our 7 year old granddaughter had a private ski lesson with a great instructor and was skiing well after one hour into the 4 hour lesson.

We had an incredible stay. The house has plenty of room and was so warm and cozy. There was a record amount of snow when we stayed. We really enjoyed our “snow in” day watching DVD’s and playing games that were all provided. Owner communication was stellar. We will be back, for sure.

We had a group of 9 during our stay. It was a comfortable house for everyone. We had a great time. The proximity to Purgatory Ski Resprt was ideal. We hope to return in the future!

The property was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Loved the location and was excited to actually see a bear walking by the house! Kevin was great to work with.

Wonderful place and Property Manager
This was such a wonderful place to stay. Super clean. Lots of beds. Big table for everyone to eat. The communication with the property manager, Kevin was spot on. My husband and I will definitely be contacting Kevin again to use his home in the future.

Highly recommend the Nugget Mountain Bar (beer, food and atmosphere), as well as Olde Schoolhouse Cafe (pizza and drink) for nearby dining options.

Large cabin with plenty of space to spread out. The home was clean and had a well equipped kitchen, with all items clearly marked & easy to locate. Hot tub was great and extremely clean!! Would recommend for large family get togethers. House is an older A-frame but well maintained.

The house was great. It was well stocked and had items you would not even expect in a rental so our stay was very comfortable. It is large and comfortable. Great check in experience and nice property. Enough seclusion, but close to Purgatory and other mountain activities we were after (hiking, fishing, and mountain biking). Plenty of room in the house to spread out, and very comfortable and homey. Would stay again.

Nice Getaway
The owners were very quick to respond. Communication was great. The home is beautiful. Nicer and bigger than the pictures show. There is plenty of room and we had a great time staying there.

Close to purgatory
7 of us stayed at this cabin, it was a great place to stay about a 5 minute drive to purgatory for snowboarding. Plenty of space for all of us with an extra room, we had a great experience with the house and our dogs loved playing out in the snow!

Kevin, the owner, was informative and helpful, & only a phone call away if needed. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. There was rarely a car around, so our kids got to sled right at the house. The neighbor across the street was also very friendly and told us if we needed anything, he would be glad to help out. Great location, close to Purgatory Resort! We had an awesome time and can not wait to come back to Kevin’s home for another vacation!

Couldn't have asked for a better place
Everything was as-advertised. Location is perfect for exploring the San Juans, halfway between Silverton and Durango. The place and hot tub were clean and Kevin was responsive to questions. When we go back to Durango area again I will be sure to check with Kevin to see if the place is available to use again.

Autumn Getaway
It is a quaint cabin situated in a quiet neighborhood perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Day trips are easy between Silverton, Ouray and Durango. The owner is very responsive to any question or concerns. Highly recommend.
