Twistlewood è una sistemazione molto desiderabile, confortevole, luminosa e ariosa, arredata con gusto in tutto. e decorato con toni rurali tranquilli. Situato in una posizione tranquilla Wootton è di ca. 1/2 miglio dal villaggio di Bashley, dove troverete un ufficio postale / stazione di servizio, 2 centri di giardinaggio e 2 ottimi negozi di fattoria. Avventurati più lontano e troverai la città di New Milton con una strada ben arredata con banche, supermercati e negozi di articoli da regalo. Una stazione ferroviaria principale e un eccellente servizio di autobus per portarti nella foresta. A soli 8 miglia di distanza troverete la città georgiana di Lymington con molti negozi, bar, caffetterie e ristoranti. Le spiagge di Barton on Sea, Milford on Sea, Highcliffe e Mudeford sono tutte facilmente raggiungibili.

Overall the property is in a great location and convenient to visit the new forest. The property is very well equipped and everythimg is provided for a short stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Our only comment in regard to an improvement is a better quality mattress would enhance the stay.

Fantastic location. Lovely owners, very friendly and helpful. Central to most areas of The New Forest and surroundings. Very quiet even with the visiting ponies and cows. Alfie the springer was a joy and he’s not allowed in the annex. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

The property was an excellent base for us during our 3 week stay in the UK. It was very peaceful and was made unique by the visit of forest animals along the track outside the property. The annexe has all the facilities that you need. The lovely basket of goodies on arrival was very welcome. Lovely hosts too!

We had a lovely peaceful and enjoyable stay at Twistlewood, the property itself was well equipped and we had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay, not forgetting the lovely breakfast hamper left for us by Kay and Kelvin. The New Forest is so enjoyable seeing all the ponies close up and lovely walks.

A compact, cosy, clean and well equipped holiday cottage. A top class welcome and welcome pack, and everything needed for a relaxing visit. Within easy reach of the coast and surrounded by woodland walks.

We were terrified and fled the property. We called the police as we drove away. Since then the woman offered us no compensation as we never stayed there and she spoke to us like we were crazy. Our 3 hours in that annex were the most terrifying of my life and the customer service we received afterwards was atrocious! DO NOT GO HERE!

Very clean and tidy with all the amenities necessary for an comfortable stay for a couple/single. The proprietor, Kay, even provided milk, butter, cereal, bread, jam, marmalade, croissant, which meant we didn't even have to visit the shops on our first evening. Good location inside the national park, wild ponies regularly passing the front of the premises. Thoroughly recommended. Mike and Jenny/.

All good, great hosts helpful & friendly but not intrusive, The place was big enough for the two of us & kitchen had everything needed. Nice clean modern bathroom & bedroom with TV & enough storage space. Close enough to nice beaches, woods, motorcyce museum & everything we wanted.

A great stay!
Generosity of the owners was exceptional in making our stay perfect. A real home from home. The environment was very special with the New forest on our doorstep. We couldn't have wished for more.

Small but comfortable
We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay ar Twistlewood. Although small, it is comfortable for two and has everything you need. It is in a lovely, and incredibly quiet, location with easy access to local amenities and tourist areas.
We very much appreciated the goodies that were provided, including freshly laid duck eggs, home made jams and much more, along with the warm welcome from Kay & Kelvin.
I’m sure we’ll return at some point.

Nice annex for a couple
Me and my partner stayed for 3 nights at Twistlewood. It is a lovely little annex in the middle of the countryside with ponies and other animals around. The property manager Kay came and introduced herself on the first day we were there and then left us to it, though she was readily available if we needed her. Overall it was a really nice weekend and we really enjoyed the annex. I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of going to the New Forest.

Excellent Experience
A really lovely place to stay in the New Forest. Kay's annex had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and we were spoilt with her very generous welcome basket. Peaceful and relaxing. Well located for forest walks and good pubs a short drive away. We even went paddleboarding on Poole Harbour!

Excellent location for the New Forest & South Coast
Very clean with lots of extra amenities. Loved all the surprise goodies particularly the home made jam! Kay gave us lots of tips on where to visit which was very helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.
