Rachel is such a wonderful host. The farm is so peaceful and relaxing. From the well appointed rooms in all of the home, beautiful bathroom amenities, to the delicious breakfast. Close to small villages and sights. Live the knitting wool I bought that they make from their own sheep. Will be back.

Was in the twin room which did not have an en suite. Would have preferred an en suite bathroom.

Rachel is very friendly and helpful, and makes a fantastic breakfast. The property is beautifully decorated and it was perfect for a long weekend away.

Gutchpool is in a beautiful farmhouse setting, with fields, gardens, and farm buildings all around. The rooms are perfectly furnished, with comfortable beds. There's a large living room with a 'kitchen' at one end, where a delicious selection of breakfasts are served on a variety of French and English china. Plenty of sitting, views of the garden, bookshelves . . . all in a calm, tasteful milieu. We felt we were sitting for a photo shoot in one of those high-tier travel magazines. Rachel, the hostess could not have been more delightful or helpful regarding our garden tour- she knows the area intimately and her love for it is infectious.

It's a bit of a long drive from anywhere! But, if you need a day or two of rest in the middle of a busy vacation- this is your spot.

The breakfast was splendid. The location was a joy and all the facilities were in great condition.

No real complaints from me. My family and I had a great time and Rachel was a wonderful host, very accommodating and it felt like she had gone the extra mile to make us all feel welcome. A truly special weekend.
