About this house rental
"Flip Flop Inn" is a beautiful 3 Bedroom 3 Bath home, (each bedroom has its own private full bath), and a Queen size Futon. We're located in the luxurious gated safe community of Coral Hammock. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and include a large community pool and a fitness room. Two parking spots are also included in your rental. We are ideally located at mile marker 5 which is only a 10 min hop to downtown Key West, Duval St, and all the action. The Key West golf course is directly across the street, and there are no less than 4 restaurants and a CVS within walking distance of the home. I invite you to come stay at "Flip Flop Inn", guaranteed to add years to your life!

House was great and everything we needed. Check in and check out were a breeze and should be highlighted. The property was clean and ready when we got there. The host of the property was also very responsive and helpful with answering questions.

Great rental, good location just a short hop to downtown. The pool, stocked kitchen, and common space to hang inside and outside made it perfect for our group. We encountered a couple of minor issues that Dave quickly jumped on - and he even left us some donuts for our troubles. Would definitely consider it again next time we're in Key West!

The house was great. We had a family of 8, so the 3 bathrooms proved to be very useful and accommodating. Dave, the host, was quick to respond. Highly recommend this place.

Contacted host after a few days about some issues with the unit. Overall cleanliness, it was terrible. Could not walk around without feet getting dirty on the floor and carpet (the floor in the kitchen living room needs to be mopped not just vacuumed, carpet could use a cleaning). The sofa sleeper was in disrepair, the mattress cover was tattered with holes and stained. The mattress itself was worn out, and the mattress support frame was held together with zip ties(could not use as a sleeper for an adult). Lots of trash and debris under the sofa sleeper not to mention dead cockroach. The tray storage under the stove is full of food debris, one of the drawers in bathroom the bottom has fell out. The refrigerator/freezer doors do not close properly (you have to lift the freezer door up to close). Only one of the 6 lights in the master vanity was working, not to mention the light at the top of the stairway is out and the little temporary light that stuck to the wall does not work, which is a safety issue. There are numerous other issues and have pictures to support. With a weekly rate that you charge, no matter where the location you should expect maintenance to be kept up. If host wants to reach out to me, I will gladly send the pictures. Overall, would not recommend at this price due to the cleanliness until the owners have corrected issues. Also noticed in other reviews that cleanliness was an issue. Maybe they should spot check so renters don’t have to write a bad review.

We were disappointed that paying over $600 per night and there wasn't even any soap in the bathrooms. If you were to put any money into the house, i would suggest energy and sound proof windows as you can hear everything that goes down US1

We enjoyed our stay in this well located home. There was plenty of room for our family. The swimming pool was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked. It was an easy drive into and out of Key West. The nearby French Bakery was very good. I wish we had spent more time in the area and I hope we get to stay again.

Family of 9 stayed here and we really enjoyed the location and the house has everything you really need to stay. We loved the multiple bathrooms and the house was big enough that we didn’t feel crowded. Dave is a wonderful host and very accommodating. Thanks for letting us stay and enjoy our family vacation.

Dave was easy to work with, made us feel at home and it was a great location. Not in the bustling downtown so a bit quieter with parking but easy to get every where. Nice amenities in the house to make our stay comfortable.

Perfect spot and so easy. 5 min from airport. Plenty of space for our family, loved the pool (heated!). You’re away from Duval street hustle and bustle but we rented bikes just down the street and rode all around the island, super convenient. Also, across the street from the community is a French bakery, a deli, an excellent Italian restaurant and a brewery. It made it so easy with little ones. No complaints! Easy check in and out.

We came here with our family to celebrate a birthday. We found the house to be warm, cozy and simply wonderful ! The grounds outside offer a very tropical feel and very well maintained. The back patio is a great added living space. We will redo in the future !

Traveling with family and the location was perfect. The property is very large with en suite bathrooms in each bedroom. The checkin process was flawless and checkout the same. Dave was very helpful with offering things to see and do. We will definitely stay again.

This place was amazing! It was 10 minutes from downtown Key West and was large enough to host my rehearsal dinner of 17 people. The kitchen was just the right size and parking was no problem. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you very much for the wonderful accommodations.

Our stay was a friends vacation of 7 people. The loacation is great, close to everything. The house has plenty of room. We utilized the pool a lot, cooked out using the grill. Had coffe on the porch each morning. Thanks for having us!!!

good stay, good location close to Key west. lots of pro's and cons for our stay.
the listing has three king size beds listed and instead one of the room has two twin beds, so my 6 ft tall teen had to sleep on a tiny bed with his feet hanging off. we ended up pushing the beds together. one of the main reasons I picked this location was for each kid to have their own room. and king bed. not the end of the world, but listening to complaining teens is not the best...
The property was close to Key west at a ten/15 min drive to town. but a little out side of biking range in heat of summer. We had booked an electric golf cart car but had to cancel because there was no parking in front of unit and no place to park electric golf cart to charge at night. I had messaged and asked prior to booking the car and said it would be no problem. We ended up saving money on it so that is good lol.
the unit is right on main HWY so you get lots of traffic noise..lots...good thing I wear ear plugs.
Kitchen has the most basic pots and pans....you can cook a basic meal, but the non stick pans look to be well over usage age..over all needs updating...
says you get two parking spots with unit, but it was full and had to park a ways away from unit.
but Key West is amazIng and we had a blast! over all a good price point and decent stay.

My hubby and I celebrated 20 years with our girls and they each got to bring a friend. Being together was what we wanted and we love The Keys. It was a fantastic for days. Loved that each "couple" got to have their own room and bathroom. The house was set up perfect. We rented a boat one day and the weather was perfect. Thank you. Can't wait to do it again!

We loved the condo, it was clean and perfect. Plenty of space for at home meals, and the pool within easy walking distance. The gated community was added security . We loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay at this condo again!

Property dated in terms of things like kitchen and furniture but since we were fishing from stock island location ideal. The property pool is great and being across street from the dolphin deli is a real plus. Ours being an “outer ring “ location meant that the rear porch was nearly on the highway.If you want to sleep late not ideal.For our purposes it was fine and economical given key west prices

The townhouse is about a 10 minute drive to downtown Key West.
The townhouse itself was decent, the bedding and towels could use an upgrade.
The pool area was beautifully landscaped and very enjoyable.
The back porch is next to a busy road, but the landscape mitigated the sounds fairly well.
Overall, a nice place.

Will definitely be coming back. For us, it was the perfect balance of convenience and price. To get to most of the tourist attractions in downtown you will need to drive, Uber, or rent bikes. With the price of parking and the headache of driving around we found it was worthwhile to Uber. If you stay here would recommend eating at Roostica.

The property is nice and comfortable. It's a good location and easy to get in and out. There are a few repairs that might enhance the property. Overall it was a nice get away for the weekend.

Great little property for our family. It was away from all the hustle of the downtown area and had a great pool for the kids. It served as a great "home base" for exploring Key West and the Dry Tortugas. The property was clean and ready to go when we got there, and we didn't have any issues. We were going to grill out one night but the grill wasn't working other than that it was agreat place and I would highly recommend it to a family looking to escape for a couple days or a week.

A lot of Mold in upstairs shower
Odor in one of the conchs and rugs were questionable. Owner was extremely nice and helpful on text. I do not think he knows that the company cleaning is doing a very poor job. The location in the community was bad due to road noise and parking was not out front. We had to park a bit from the rental. Dave was the only think that was great about this place

We had friends staying on a boat at Perry Marina. While we spent most of our time outside of the house, it was well equipped and met our needs. We stayed at a place on the water last year and this house, while not on the water, had a much better setup.
