Newly renovated and fully furnished large one bedroom apartment in beautiful 100 year old three story brick Tudor home, located in trendy Ballard neighborhood. King size bed and queen pull out can sleep up to four in 600 sq. ft lower level apartment. Large living room, kitchen and bath with Wi-fi, TV and utility room available. Our basement apartment offers lots of privacy with off-street parking and your own separate entrance. Conveniently located just a 4 minute walk to express buses for easy access to Seattle Center, Pike Place Market, downtown and all the other wonderful attractions Seattle has to offer. All of Ballard’s trendy restaurants, bars and coffee shops are close as well as the Ballard Locks, Golden Gardens beach and the Nordic Heritage Museum. We’d love to host your next Seattle visit.

We stayed for 2 days in Alice’s bottom floor rental. We had the entire bottom floor which offered a large bedroom, living area with large TV, sofa-sleeper, chair, coffee table and fireplace. The kitchen was well supplied and laundry washer and dryer available in the basement entryway. The bathroom was small with quite small shower, but the water stream was strong and we had plenty of hot water. The location is convenient to going all places of interest, and parking off street in Alice’s driveway was a plus. Overall, we were very pleased with the rental and would rent again.

Nice little basement apartment that was close to so many things. It was only a 15 minute drive to the waterfront in downtown Seattle. The evenings setting out on the patio were very relaxing. Alice, the host, was super nice and walked us through everything when we checked in. We will definitely stay again when we return to the Seattle area. and was

Alice was amazing in helping us sort our trip here, she went above and beyond. Really impressed with the apartment, location was great and was really easy to get about by car and public transport. We travelled over from England and our first time here, will definitely come back one day!

Alice's suite was well appointed, clean, and quite large. The kitchen had everything we could ever need and a nice full sized fridge. We enjoyed exploring Ballard and beyond and having a comfortable home to come back to after a long day was just so great. Alice was welcoming and great with communication. We would definitely stay again. Thanks so much for having us!

This place is perfect, host was amazing. Beds were comfy and everything was just right!!! Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Grocery is right up the road and it’s central to a lot of stuff. Uber to space needle/mopop area was around $30. Great that there was onsite parking.

We had a short 2 day stay. Communication was good with Alice. Her accommodations were in the basement of her home with windows for decent light and easy opening for great cross ventilation. The king bed was comfortable and appreciated, and the living room was roomy with plenty of seating. The kitchen had sufficient cooking equipment. The parking was tight in the driveway for a big truck, but we were able to make it work.

My daughter and I stayed here for a few days before boarding a cruise to Alaska. The neighborhood is great. We used public transport the whole time to get places or we walked because the neighborhood is cute and felt safe. The actual apartment is underneath the house and is accessed through a separate door connected to the laundry area. It's clean and has most of what you may need. Grocery stores are not too far, we walked. The woman who owns it does live upstairs but she is sweet and gives you your space. We loved it and would come back! The only thing I noticed is there was not spa/hot tub like the listing says. At least none we saw.

We enjoyed our stay, and had everything we needed to comfortable and ready for the day! Alice was a terrific host...there when we needed anything, always making sure we had all the privacy we wanted. The location is a very nice neighborhood, with stores and restaurants within relatively short walk. If you're planning to spend a lot of time in Seattle Center, the Marina, Pike Place, Pioneer Square, etc. (in other words, the city attractions that Seattle is known for), be prepared long walks (which we love and did) of at least five miles each way, relatively expensive Uber rides, or (as we also did) very convenient and inexpensive public transportation. The D bus is about five blocks away (very convenient) and will get you close to all those attractions. Just be prepared for rides of 40 - 60 minutes, depending on time of day and traffic. Overall, very much enjoyed our stay here.

Staying at Alice's during the mid two weeks in June was peaceful and close to our Kid's Home. The weather was exceptionally warm during our stay and her garden was beautiful. Everything was in walking distance. I was able to do my morning protein shakes because this rental had a blender. We were always gone before noon, however, we made use of the toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer during the morning hours. Bathroom was room enough for two with shower only. Our bedroom was HUGE and the bed so very comfortable and the covers kept us very warm. We would arrive every evening back to Alice's around 10 p.m. and would relax in front of the Smart TV and the electric fireplace. In summary, should we visit Seattle WA again, we'll definitely be staying at Alice's. Highly recommend.

This was my second time staying in Alice’s unit, and I would definitely stay here again. The location is very convenient to anyone who enjoys the Ballard area, and it’s so nice that she has off-street parking. Alice was easy to reach when I had questions and made checking in and out a breeze.

We love Alice’s home. It is a Ballard gem. We spent a wonderful few days visiting with our Grandbaby and her parents. We had a great breakfast at Swansons Nursery and Garden Center. We shopped at Ballard town and Country, great produce and bakery. We are from San Diego, and have membership at our zoo there. However. we had the closest encounter with a Siberian tiger at the woodland zoo. Alice is a fabulous host and this home was extremely comfortable. We highly recommend her home.

This little apartment was perfect for our stay before our Alaska cruise. We arrived late Saturday evening, and Alice was very flexible about our arrival time. She met us and gave us a tour of the apartment, along with some information about what we could find nearby. The apartment was so cute and clean and comfortable. So much nicer than staying in a hotel in the downtown area. We were easily able to get Ubers to take us to the pier for an afternoon whale watching cruise on Sunday, as well as to the pier on Monday morning for our Alaska cruise. My son says 5/5 stars, Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again “next time”.

Very nice apartment in North Seattle. Clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Great communication with host (Alice). Met upon arrival…received apartment walk-through and detailed neighborhood info sheet. Quick 5-8 min walk to RapidLine bus stop….then about 25 minutes into downtown Seattle. Trader Joe’s, Safeway and Town & Country grocers within walking distance. Assorted dining and drinking options all around. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
