My family (husband and two young daughters) and I had a great experience with the "Clet Dugas" home. Our hosts were amazing and provided us with many different things to check out while on our 1 week stay. The house isn't huge by any means, but it's plenty for a small family, a couple, a single person, or a few friends. The house felt like our home away from home, which is exactly what we were looking for. We couldn't thank our hosts enough for everything they did for us and for allowing us to check in a couple of hours early. We will be sure to go through them again if we come back to the Lafayette area.

House was very clean, had everything we needed and was in a great location. Felt very safe with police and fire department right down the street. Would definitely stay again.

With the awesome town of Scott minutes away and all the great tastes and activities to do around the area along with Mardi Gras in Scott and Lafayette as well as Youngsville we had a blast!

This was a great little place to stay and rest on our drive to Texas! Paula was very accommodating and let us check in early which was extremely helpful with my 1 year old! The place was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We loved the candy and ice cream shop. There’s also a couple of yummy restaurants nearby. It’s a bit interesting where it’s located bc there is a warehouse right behind it and some of the workers set up their chairs to relax near the house but they didn’t bother us at all. Overall we had a great experience!

We stayed here to spend time with granddaughters and to celebrate a birthday with them. The girls loved the little house and kept saying " we want to live here. " They had choices to go and do other things but they asked if we could just stay in and eat pizza , birthday cake and hang out like being at home. Thanks for the memories! We enjoyed it immensely! ~ Jeanette

This place is adorable and it had everything we needed to make delicious home cooked meals. The owner was awesome and responded at a timely manner we will definitely be back.

Feels like staying at Aunt Paula's house the atmosphere is grand and relaxing...Enjoy It and make sure to stop by the coffee depot for breakfast suggested by Paula...

Super cute cottage in the heart of Scott. An adorable little town with tons of charm and some good food, Uncle T's Oysters and The Coffee Depot were both very good. The house was well stocked and very clean. We will visit again!

We enjoyed a quick trip to Lafayette and found this sweet little cottage to stay. 4 adults, 2 of us on the queen bed, one on the full size bed, and the other on the couch. Everything we needed was provided. It is close to the firehouse, so on a busy night the sirens may keep you up. It was wonderful hearing the iron horse roll by :)

What a cute little house - perfect for my family trip home to Louisiana! The cottage is clean, conveniently located and quiet - despite being next to an event center (super convenient for future trips!). And what an amazing value! My son loved having his “own room” and the beds are amazingly comfortable. We will definitely book here again for family visits. Thanks again Paula!!!

This is a great place to stay, we enjoyed our week here very much. We were very comfortable in the house, good beds and seating, good cooling too. We look for single floor places as one of us has reduced mobility. The Clet Dugas house is near restaurants (Uncle T’s was good for Crawfish and Oysters!), Cajun Boudin suppliers and supermarkets and close to the i10 interstate making it an excellent central base for exploring Cajun country. From Scott we visited Mamou and Eunice for a Saturday filled with Cajun music, we visited the Jungle gardens on Avery Island and really liked the town of New Iberia nearby. A particular recommendation for a Louisiana Swamp Tour goes to Champagne's Swamp Tours based on Lake Martin south of Beau Bridge. They enabled all of us to enjoy a memorable two hour swamp and lake cruise, spectacular scenery, amazing colors and lots of wildlife to see. I strongly recommend this house and give thanks to Paula, our host.

This place was more than we ever expected it really was a home-away-from-home very cozy comfortable and clean and we really enjoyed the stay. We almost didn't want to leave to go home but it's Sunday time to get back to reality. Thanks Paula for having such a wonderful home.
