the basic property was great. the dishwasher didn't work the entire stay. we didn't cook at the condo so did not really have to deal with it. the master bed was extremely tired and needs replaced. Other than that the location was great loved my parking space

We had an incredible time at the condo. Pretty much whatever we needed was available. Our dishwasher unfortunately was not working and the disposal had a glich but we fixed the problem. We were very comfortable and happy staying there . Security was excellent and condo was in a scenic area.

Excellent townhome to stay for a group. This place was an awesome home base for a group of friends in Kauai for a wedding. I believe everyone who stayed here enjoyed having their own bathroom. I stayed in the master with my wife and felt the bed was really comfortable. The ac is cold and if you need more cooling there is a ceiling fan above each bed.

Love Poipu Kai for easy access to beach and convenient driving distance for where we want to go. This condo had exactly the right sleeping arrangements for our group.
Kitchen was well stocked. Lots of pots and pans and utensils. Appreciated the paper plates and plastic storage bags. It was great having beach towels and chairs.
We were told ahead of time that the oven wasn’t working, but there is a large countertop oven that worked for us. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes. The A:C quit working a few days into our stay. They did fix it after a day or two. I prefer to open all the windows and let cross breezes take care of it, but the floor plan doesn’t allow that. The top bedroom has no window, nor any place for clothes storage.
We all had a great time despite the inconveniences and a couple of stuffy nights.

Upon arriving on the island, I got an email from Remax stating that the oven was not working in the unit and that they would put a toaster oven in our unit as a substitute, after arriving to our unit, we had a note on the counter saying the dishwasher didn’t work, the microwave didn’t work and the entire stove did not work. Of course this was after we just got back from Costco with all the food that we were going to cook in the unit. I contacted Remax and my response from them was I’m in the middle of something, get back to you later, they did finally get back to us and told us that if you wanted to use the oven and stove in the unit below us that we could, but that is a huge inconvenience to what we wanted to do as a family and the unit below was not air-conditioned so I was very disappointed in all of that (we did not use the unit below) but the location was great other than not having a functioning kitchen we had a nice time.

The dishwasher, microwave therefore fan above stove did not work. The oven temperature guide was broken so you never knew how high the temp was . There was a handwritten note above oven explaining this. The television in the master bedroom didn't work at all.

This condo is in a great location. The grounds are gorgeous and the facilities outside were well maintained. The beds were very comfortable.
However, there were many things that needed to be replaced and or repaired. The dishwasher and the oven did not work at all. The ceiling fans in the master bedroom and the living room did not work properly (squeeking) and missing a pull cord. The lamp in the master bedroom was dusty and broken…no on off switch & nothing to hold the shade in place. There were 2 broken patio chairs which they did replace. The office chair is cracked but functional.
We appreciated Angela’s quick responses and communications. We also liked having the beach chairs available to us. I’d stay here again if everything worked.

The unit was very dirty and we did not get any help from ReMax property management to rectify this. So, we had to wash the body Oder smelling sheets, scrub tubs, etc. This was totally unacceptable. Additionally, almost every appliance broke. We had to go to a laundromat to do laundry and hand wash all of our dishes since the washer and dishwasher were each broken for over a week of our stay. Do not book this unit as all of the appliances are old and the property managers do not respond with corrective actions promptly nor give more than 0.24% refund in response to our many attempt to communicate and collaborate politely with them.

This rental felt like home. We are a family of 6 and this home was so spacious and comfortable. The walk to the beach was not long and so pretty. Someone was parked in our spot and I called management and they found us another spot to park in. We also booked a Luau with Darshan and I was so pleased with how quickly she got us booked and the Luau was GREAT! We had such a fun time!

Lovely condo—extremely cozy and perfectly maintained. We loved having three bathrooms. Its fantastic location within walking distance to Poipu Beach, along with its proximity to shopping and restaurants, was perfect for us. We had everything we required for our stay. However, we suggest having some extra towels and blankets available, which would be a nice addition.
We would highly recommend to anyone to stay! Mahalo!

Overall a great experience. Amazing location. There had been a roof leak and the ceiling was peeling in the family room. I reported it and never heard back. Did find the beach toys with some effort and in bad shape. The kitchen was also lacking in equipment but we made it work. The furniture was outdated and needs cleaning. But we enjoyed having 3 bedrooms and bathrooms and ac for our family.

And if the pool door closes it locks you in the pool area unless you have a key. We had to jump the fence to get out.

Overall, this was a great place to stay. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I only have two complaints. The mattress in the upstairs bedroom was uncomfortable to sleep on. My wife and I woke up with sore backs every morning. The other issue was there was an area of the ceiling which had paint scraped away due to water damage and there where two bowls placed underneath in order to collect any water dripping through the roof when it rained. That is not a sight you want greeting you upon your arrival and should have been disclosed for the money that we paid to stay there.

This property was okay. There was no deadbolt that allowed us to secure the property when we went to bed which was disconcerting. It was reasonably clean, but the furniture was pretty worn. We were disappointed to be greeted by two big bowls under what had been a leak in the roof/ceiling. The property manager thought that the HOA had completed the repair, which they clearly had not. Hotel-style washable bathroom mats would have been much nicer than the fuzzy, not terribly clean ones provided. Bathroom shower curtain liners needed to be changed out. They were past their prime and somewhat mildewy. Check-in instructions clearly said to only park in our assigned parking space and three times had to call security because someone was in our assigned spot.

This condo (#924 at Regency at Poipu Kai) was perfect for our group of 4 adults. We were able to relax together and spread out in the spacious condo. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms clean a spacious. Of course, we would have liked to have an ocean view, but we were able to walk to the ocean side and several beaches. Also, just a short drive to restuarants and shopping. The Regency grounds felt tropical and were well maintained.

The location worked well for us as we could walk to the beach but most days we drove so we could bring all the chairs, umbrellas, and snorkel gear easily. The condo is above another and there are signs to walk softly which would have been good to know beforehand since we had three kids with us. Overall, a good condo for families.

This is a nice 3 bed/3 bath unit with AC. Kitchen has all that you need to stay and cook. We would turn the AC to 75 when we left the unit and had the AC at 71/72 at night. Beds were comfortable. Unit is all original (fans, carpet, sinks, tile) but in decent shape. Nice short walk to Poipu beach or Brenneck beach and restaurant.

This is a lovely condo close to many wonderful South Shore points of interest. It is located along the green belt, which is a lovely place to walk or jog in the mornings. There are two pools and lots of families vacationing at this location, which made pool time fun.

We had a great time during our stay. We were very pleased with the amenities such as beach toys, beach chairs, boogie boards etc. Remax was wonderful,friendly,helpful with questions I had and addressed any issues we had immediately. The only issue we had to be concerned about were the thin walls the resonated sound to the floor below us. This was challenging at times with 4 kids, especially the first night we were there and they were overly excited about being in HI with their cousins. The curtains could be changed add there were tears in a couple of them. Overall it was a great place, close to beach and shops. We would stay there again.

Odor in kitchen area, furniture well worn and faded, need for utensils and plate ware. Check-out on rental agreement was not honored, tenant privacy was disrupted a few times by service techs for services which should have been done before arrival. Past review concerns still existed.
