The best resort in kisumu

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Ciala Resort Kisumu for a family vacation, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way possible. From the moment we stepped foot into the resort until the moment we left, we were treated with warmth, care, and impeccable service that made our stay truly remarkable. We wanted to take a moment to share our fantastic experience at Ciala Resort and highly recommend it to all families seeking an unforgettable getaway. Accommodations: The moment we entered our spacious, beautifully appointed family suite, we were greeted by a stunning view of the lush gardens and sparkling pool. The room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and elegantly furnished, providing a relaxing retreat for our entire family. The attention to detail in the room amenities and thoughtful touches, such as welcome treats for the kids, made us feel right at home. The beds were incredibly cozy, ensuring a restful night's sleep for all of us. Facilities and Activities: Ciala Resort Kisumu boasts an impressive array of facilities and activities for families of all ages. The expansive pool area was a definite highlight for our kids, who spent hours splashing around and enjoying the water slides. The resort's well-maintained gardens provided a peaceful setting for family strolls and picnics, while the children's playground kept our little ones entertained for hours. The on-site spa and fitness center allowed us parents to indulge in some much-needed relaxation and rejuvenation. Amazingly beautiful

As a frequent business traveler, I can confidently say that Ciala Resort is an exceptional choice for professionals on the go. The elegant and comfortable rooms provided a peaceful sanctuary after a long day of meetings. The Wi-Fi was reliable, allowing me to seamlessly catch up on work. The boardrooms were well-equipped and the staff was attentive to my needs. The resort's serene atmosphere and top-notch amenities allowed me to recharge and stay focused. Ciala Resort exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be returning during my next business trip.

Exceptional

The resort's facilities are well thought out and properly managed. The staff were generally polite and caring. Provided the privacy that I needed as well as a quite environment for the family to chill out.

Not much...really. I just really liked it and have encouraged the rest of my family to visit it when they come to Kenya. I will probably host a reunion there sometime in the future.

Hotel idea good.

The bathroom was a mess. The room I paid for was a premium price yet the shower was cold, with broken taps. Very disappointed. Asked for help and no response from staff; reported issue when checking out and staff was not bothered by the issue.

The hotel / resort was a nightmare from management to staff. This hotel is in infested with corrrupt and crooked staff. The management structure is non existent. Staff are inadequate regarding information, services were not delivered to the standards described. We was giving a price at check in but charged triple for room Upgrades. Held at their bargain price and at ransom. We had no choice to pay as we had a morning flight to catch. A few members also informed of things being missing from their rooms. Please avoid this hotel at all cost.

My family and I spent 5 nights at Ciala Resort. Beautiful environment, amazing and spacious Executive Suite, comfortable bed and couches. Hospitable and friendly employees all the way from the reception to room service. The food was very delicious too.

A few drawbacks: 1. Frequent power outages throughout the period. 2. Although very hardworking, the housekeeping team seams to be overwhelmed. Despite making frequent calls daily, our executive suite was cleaned between 4-5pm daily rather than in the morning hours. Dirty cutlery stayed in the room until evenings. 3. The a la carte menu is restrictive/ narrow.
