About this apartment rental

Located in the heart of Brussels’ Sablon neighbourhood, the Regence III Sweet Inn two-bedroom apartment is a true Belgium delight. Our local interior designer has furnished this sprawling space for both comfort and design. Each bedroom features large beds and fine linens. Open spaces, walls of windows and high ceilings make this spacious gem the perfect place to watch the sunset over the cathedral opposite.

Regence boasts a prime location just opposite the Sablon Notre Dame Cathedral in Brussels, placing it within a stone's throw of popular attractions such as the Royal Palace of Brussels and the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, both just a short walk away. For exploring other tourist hotspots throughout the city, convenient bus and tram connections can be found at Petit Sablon and Royal, ensuring easy access to a wide range of destinations.

Premium amenities include free WiFi, cable TV, hotel beds and linens, luxury toiletries, and a Nespresso machine.

This upscale vacation apartment is the ideal place to unwind after a long day of enjoying the local sights.

Mind that the privilege to experience such an exclusive location with excellent tram connectivity might come with some noisy moments.

Special note: Due to an issue with the door the balcony is currently not usable.

To be honest, this property has a few quirks, but the pros outweigh the cons. The photos in VRBO are accurate. Cons: Busy street, can be noisy at night. Showers leak out a lot of water under the shower doors. Numerous light bulbs out. Kitchen is tiny and there is nothing besides dishes, glasses and pots and pans. Pros: Very good location Overall layout is good and roomy. Storage space throughout the unit is very good. Kitchen has large fridge, dishwasher and microwave. There is a washing machine (but no dryer) - there are also large heated drying racks in both bathrooms. The VIEW!!! The pictures don't do justice on this. It's beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Apartment spacious but needs many fixes. The showers leaked and tile needs deep cleaning. Door to balcony had broken hinge and could not be opened. Many lights did not work. I called management about these and they offered to bring a crew to fix these but I am not spending a holiday waiting for work that should have been done before we arrived. Also the reservation completion was more detailed than any other vrbo I have rented. Seemed shady but it did work out. Just beware of SweetInn. Will not rent from that company again.

The Sablon neighborhood is quite nice. The view from the apartment straight on to the Cathedral of St Catherine is amazing. The apartment is on a street near the government so you do get a lot of police escorts with sirens on - we did not mind but leaving the windows open did add to the sound. Not a lot of kitchen items like salt and pepper if you want to cook but good kitchen pots and pans. We enjoyed this as our base home for 11 days while we explored Belgium. The down stairs cafe was great and a number of excellent bars (Vertigo being one) and restaurants (Lola).

This was a great apartment for my family, including my toddler. The host provided a pack n play with sheet for the baby. They even provided baby shampoo and a stuffed animal for the baby. Coffee and coffee maker were provided. The apartment had a little balcony with a phenomenal view, where we spent every evening. The apartment also sits above a cute cafe, which we frequently visited. The apartment also had a laundry machine, which wasn’t advertised. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning. We were able to open the windows from the top and use the 3 fans provided, which helped. If you do not have young children, you can open the windows completely. They are not screened and only 2ft from the ground, so we could not open them while our toddler was out of her crib. Also, the internet worked only about half of the time. Otherwise, a really great experience and we would stay there again!

The location can’t be beat. You can walk to the main museum, easily down the hill to the main square and a mile to the train station. Very good cafe on the first floor of the building. The view of the church is just wonderful. I personally found the check in process hard because I didn’t realize both forms of I’d were needed. When I finally got through to someone on the phone it was explained. If you are not a heavy sleeper I suggest earplugs for sound at night due to the tram and occasional sirens. Lastly it would be good if there were olive oil salt and pepper in the cupboard. These are easy to fix issues though. I highly recommend staying here and if we come back we would stay here again. Lastly once checked in management is very helpful.

We very much enjoyed staying in this apartment with its spectacular view of the Notre Dame du Sablon across the street. A terrace afforded the opportunity to sit outside with a glass of wine to enjoy the view. Windows across the width of the apartment made it light and airy. The location was convenient for all the major sights, most within walking distance, including the Grand Place just minutes away. The two bedrooms are small with not much space to put luggage but a large closet gives plenty of room to store things. Large fluffy towels are provided. The master bedroom has a large full bathroom. The bathroom off the second bedroom has a sink, shower and washer and dryer. The toilet is in a separate room up four steps and just outside the door of the bedroom. There is some street noise but it does get quiet at night and it didn't seem to bother us. The kitchen is very small with virtually no counter space for food prep. This wasn't a problem for breakfast preparation but might have some challenges if one wanted to prepare a full meal. It has a big refrigerator. The kitchen is equipped with the basics. The only seating other than the chairs at the dining table was a small sofa which seated three of us. There is a coffee shop on the ground level of the building. The property management answered inquiries promptly and was helpful and responsible in meeting us on day of check-in. We very much appreciated the early check-in. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because of some maintenance issues such as soap dispenser which fell off the wall of the shower, burned out light bulb, etc. which could be easily remedied. I have sent a list of these to the management. We would stay here again and recommend it to others who may be looking for a convenient place to stay in Brussels.
