Amazing place to stay that exceeded our expectations!!

Great location in Athens allowing you to be outside the tourist area but walkable to the usual highlights. Rooms and property were very well kept at all time. Staff were incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to help out!! The breakfast was amazing!!

An oasis in the heart of Athens

The Foundry is one of the best hotels I've stayed in, maybe even THE best. Our garden suite was lovely and kept very clean by the housekeeping staff. It was a real treat to be able to have our breakfast on the suite's private terrace on those mornings when we wanted to have a leisurely lie-in rather than get dressed to have breakfast at the beautiful roof garden. The breakfast itself was fresh and tasty, including the "express" breakfast that we had the morning we headed out early for a day trip to Delphi (organised with help from the brilliant reception staff). The location is perfect - right in the centre of a cool neighbourhood with great food and drink options but only 5-10 minutes' walk from most of the main sights. We stayed for a week and would stay again in a heartbeat.

It didn't bother us, but guests who are sensitive to night-time noise should consider choosing a suite other than B-0, as the bar opposite is open until 2am. The hotel provides earplugs to help with this, but I personally found that I didn't need to use them.

Exactly what we needed, very comfortable and walking distance from historic monuments and fabulous restaurants.

Exceptional stay in thr heart of Athens

Exceptional hotel with beautiful suite rooms in an old foundry building, modernly renovated. The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre of Athens, in the neighbourhood of Psiri. The staff adopts a unique personalised approach, and the building has an amazing rooftop garden for breakfast and chill.

There was literally nothing that we didn't like.

Amazing and cool hotel with an awesome roof garden. Perfect for Athens!

Excellent location for exploring Athens, really fun part of town. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. The roof terrace is amazing! excellent breakfast picnics with a view of the acropolis.

Some the eggs in the breakfast were a bit watery and where some guests left dirty plates on the roof garden the birds liked to come and feast. Possibly more a comment on the guests before us than the hotel, who cleared it up immediately when noticed.

Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! all the luxuries one wants without any of the showy, unnecessary pompous stuff. clean, comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, extremely friendly and helpful staff, cool location.
