About this house rental
Upstairs bedroom and full bathroom, (keys /left for you upon arrival) ---You are renting one private bedroom and a private bathroom. Keyed bedroom door locks for your privacy. Come and go as you please, no curfew. This room has a full bath with tub and shower across the hall. Double bed with new memory foam mattress, chair and a place to hang clothes. Television with Amazon Prime movies, HULU LIVE and internet. You are welcome to use my kitchen as a courtesy, when not in use. There is a full size refrigerator in the garage for guest use but no freezer. It is 1 mile from the interstate and 15 minutes from downtown Nashville. There is also ample shopping 4 minutes away with several restaurants delivering to this property. There is a frige in the garage you are welcome to use. Linens, towels,soaps, shampoo Coffee bar included. If you are booking through Expedia it states that this house is on the lake, and it is not.

I felt like a VIP. So accommodating, such a welcoming and sound atmosphere. I had experienced teacher training that was fun but 2500 people and very fast paced and overwhelming stimuli. To know I had a sound environment to come home to was amazing. I so enjoyed my privacy and my coffee bar. I had a full sized refrigerator and freezer to store my items separately. Such a beautiful outside area.

While the hosts were very nice folks, this should not be considered a VRBO. I was not in a separated part of a house to myself, but was actually in the hosts' living space. Yes, I had a private bedroom and bathroom, but there was at least one other guest there, and the hosts themselves. You have to walk through their kitchen and living area to get to the room. Also, in the room, I found that the closet area and dressers were already occupied by the host's belongings. I stayed only two nights, but was not comfortable, as I expected to have a space all to myself. If you are OK with staying in a house with other people, you should have no issues. But again, this should not be considered a VRBO, as you do not have the whole space to yourself.

I had such a busy weekend running the roads of Nashville to Dickson. I felt welcomed from the time I walked in until I left. Very peaceful which is what I needed and privacy as well. Lovely couple and I would highly recommend my family/friends to stay. I will definitely be back.

Was a little nervous about staying in someone’s personal residence but they were very welcoming! I tend to keep to myself and they did the same! The offered nice sweet treats and snacks every time we seen each other!! Overall a good stay with no issues!! Will try to book with them next time!!

This was the first time I rented a room in someone’s home, as usually I rent an entire home. I was traveling alone and felt more comfortable staying with someone and it was a great choice. The room and bedroom are upstairs and private and I was given a key to lock the door. Bed was very comfortable, good water pressure in the very clean bathroom, and I always sleep with earplugs and use a little sound machine so I didn’t hear any noise from the nearby well-traveled road. Karla and Skip were both around some of the time I was there and were very kind and gracious hosts. And like other comments I had read, the cookie left in my room was delicious! 😊

We had a wonderful stay! We really enjoyed our late night snacks of cookies, brownies, and banana pudding!! It was an easy drive to Nissan Stadium in Nashville from their house. Karla did a terrific job of maintaining communication with us before and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and clean place to stay not far from Nashville
Karla’s property was very welcoming. She gave detailed instructions on how to get there and how to check in, which was very easy. Once inside we went up to our room which had a welcome sign on the neatly made bed. Our private room and bathroom were very clean. Their place is not far from Nashville and easy to find with food and drinks only a short drive away. Would stay there again for sure.

This was the ideal spot as it was just outside the city but not too far. Owners were extremely sweet and helpful, by far one of the best places we’ve stayed at! Easy access to get to the house, right off the interstate and close by target and other stores along with small town businesses. Thanks for the recommendations of what to do and where to eat, we would’ve missed out on so much!

Quiet and welcoming
I had to opportunity to stay with Karla and Skip during an aviation conference I was attending in Nashville. Before I arrived, they sent me detailed instructions on how to access the property and when I got to my room, I was welcomed with a personalized name tag and a fresh baked cookie-yum! Motion activated night lights lit my way through the house so it was easy to navigate in the dark. Karla and Skip are both great and were very flexible with my schedule! Highly recommended.

My daughter and I very much enjoyed our overnight here. After a couple days on the road it was a welcoming respite. Would have loved to stay longer. Liked that it was outside Nashville proper too (altho we did enjoy our short visit downtown - the Parthenon is impressive!!).
