Superb

It's a beautiful house, comfortable, spacious, clean and full of light! Stunning view and location. Elisabete was a very friendly and helpful owner. The awesome thermal baths of Dona Queija are in 3 min. walking distance! Don't miss the chance to wake up before dawn and listen to the birds singing!

The humidity. Our towels and wet clothes would never dry and the smell was strong if you left the windows closed. But I guess there's nothing one can do, it is a location with high humidity.

So relaxing and beautiful

The views are spectacular, the house is bigger than it appears in the photos, the kitchen is very well set up for cooking meals, the hot springs are just at the end of the road and the village centre is a very short walk. Our host was very friendly and left us some local bread for our first mornings breakfast.

The hill to get in was a bit steep but well worth the climb.

Location! Location! Location! A beautiful view from all the rooms, a wonderful terrace just outside the kitchen, and greenery all around.

A clothes’ drier would have been useful. When the sun is out clothes dry very quickly, but when it rains …

Beautiful spot, stunning views, really friendly hosts and only a short walk into Furnas!

Beautiful location with stunning views, easy walk into Furnas and hot springs just across the road, hosts were very friendly and informative, very large comfortable house with everything we needed we had a great stay!

Best view in town in one of the largest stylish chalets in Furnas!

The location of the Chalet is very good. It is within walking distance to the centre of Furnas where there a lots of things to do. There is a grocerystore at 180m and the thermal baths are easy to go to. The view from the chalet is the main thing why you should book this place. The sunrises are amazing! You can see the park and the hostsprings steaming in the morning. Its is a very big chalet that easily hosts 6 people. Two bathrooms and a big living room and kitchen. The property is one of the biggest in Furnas centre!. It is very stylish and reminded me of Cesar Manrique in Lanzarote.

You need to love wood stoves. To heat up the place (i mean every room incl bathroom) , you need to put on the woodstove and then wait for 45min to 1h before warm air starts blowing thru the system. If you're not used to handle woodstoves, then this might be a problem. The kitchen is not enough equiped for smooth cooking. The oven and cookingstation needs to be turned on with a lighter which i think is dangerous. The pans are crooked and bad. There is a bialetta coffeemaker, but not ideal if you are with 6 adults coffeedrinkers. The hot water works with a gasboiler, and heats up water when asked. But again, it is old and doesnt feel safe.

The property sits high overlooking Furnas with beautiful views. The outside patio overlooking the landscape was most enjoyable. It’s a 2-5 minute walk to the hot springs which is ideal. Juan was extremely helpful, great communication skills and assisted my daughter with a ride back to Porta Delgada. She enjoyed speaking with him.

No screens, fans or ac. It was advised to open the doors and let the breeze come in which follows with bugs. If they could add screens or bed netting to screen the area while sleeping is encouraged.

Perfect stay in Furnas

Perfect location with an amazing view. Very friendly and helpful host, nice house with a beautiful terrace. We would stay there again.

Best view of Furnas

This house gives you a fantastic view of Furnas plus it is located right next to a restaurant and the thermal pools which makes it ideal on a rainy day to still have things to do. The house is big and beautiful and there’s plenty of space for a large group of people. If you love nature and the natural beauty of Furnas this is the best place to stay. We were there on a rainy period however the big windows was perfect to allow light and watch the rain. Great value for money and we were met by Gracas who was so cute and nice, lovely person to meet when you first get to Azores.

Very good

The host was very welcoming. We arrived very late at night and she waited for us with breakfast for the morning after. The house has a big terrace that overlooks the surrounding mountains and Furnas. It is also located 2 minutes by foot to the thermal baths. The house is very spacious, nicely decorated in the typical azorean style. It's a great place to stay and a very good basis for hiking in the area.

Because there's a lot of humidity in Furnas area, we had the feeling of moist in the house which could be a bit disturbing, as the bed sheets felt a bit humid, as well as the armchairs and the sofa.. But well, I'm not sure that something could be done about it.
