nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir !!!

Une hôtesse aux petits soins, d'excellentes recommandations ! un plan fournit pour une visite de la vieille ville que nous ne connaissions pas et des adresses à retenir pour se restaurer. Nous avons tout adoré, l'accueil, la chambre, le petit déjeuner et nous recommandons à 200% !

A delightful stopover.

A lovely house. The owner was very welcoming and spoke English. There is a shared kitchen downstairs that works well. Breakfast was a treat served in the courtyard garden by the owner who took alot of trouble. Later she showed us around her lovely garden.

A nice place to stay and Marie makes you feel like you are in your own home.

Marie was a truly great host and couldn't do enough to make sure we were comfortable. She ran us into city centre when she realised my husband had a difficulty walking far. She was a gem.

Great place to stay in Poitiers made perfect by the warm welcome from Marie and her Husband.

Received a warm welcome from Marie and her husband who were most helpful thoughout my stay. My bicycle was safely stored at the property and is ideal if travelling by bicycle. There is parking outside the property which is situated near the river and from there its a nice walk up into the centre of Poitiers. Breakfast was excellent and you have full use of the kitchen and its facilities.

There was nothing I didn't like - I enjoyed my stay entirely.

Pleasant

The room was very dark and could not see to apply makeup. or much of anything else to be honest. The bathroom was out of the bedroom and across the main staircase which we thought was dangerous during the night.

Interesting house, lovely city

The owner. She was charming and organised. Happy to show us the interesting garden!

Wonderful host, stunning environment!

Marie is a friendly and caring host. The breakfast was excellent ! The ambiance of the property is amazing. A bonus to have a parking space

The room above my room had no insolation on the stairs or the floor boards, hence I heard every foot step which was frustrating when trying to sleep.

Nice place for a short stay, good location, clean, very nice host, very nice breakfast.

The host is a very nice lady, who gave us helpful advice about the town, places to visit, where to eat. The breakfast was very good, with nice bakery, special honey, special jams, good coffee. The room was clean and quiet. Location is good, at 19 minutes walk to the center. We had free parking just near the property. The house has a nice garden, where you can have your breakfast, if the weather allows it.

We spent only one night there, on our way to Bordeaux, and for us it was just fine.

Unusual and quirky accommodation with a delightful host. We plan to return!

Very friendly and helpful host who showed us her lovely terraced gardens.

The property was rather a long way out from the city centre (good 15 minute walk).

Great place to stay as an overnight stop.

Perfect place stay overnight on the way to another destination, and for those people coming from the North of France, Poitiers is a perfect stop. The beds and the bathrooms for nice in both of our rooms (the kids and ours), recently remodeled, and we took the breakfast in the garden (included in the price). The host makes her own jam from the fruit of her own garden, so be sure to try some of that. Also, we had a bit of time after breakfast and she encouraged us to walk through her backyard, up the steps to see the pool, the fruit trees and lovely view. Do that as well. Also, the host directed us to park right next to the place which was perfect and very much appreciated.

As you may have seen, there are no TVs in the room, which shouldn’t be a big deal because the Wifi was fine and the stairs are a bit steep, so if you have trouble carrying your suitcase or walking up narrow stairs, then that could be a problem.
