This is a large (1245 SF) 1BR/1BA condo on the 6th floor of the Galleon Resort & Marina.....and is a one of a kind. It features a fantastic, fully equipped kitchen with new cabinetry and granite countertops, dining room, living room and a very spacious master bedroom & bath. This suite will sleep 5, with a king bed and a twin pullout in the master bedroom and a queen pullout in the living room. Also, one of a kind, is the huge deck with an outside table & chairs, lounge chairs, private hot tub and a spiral staircase to a private rooftop deck for fantastic views of all of Key West. For added convenience, this suite offers 2 TVs with cable, DVD players, washer/dryer, iron & ironing board, free wireless internet and a safe..

Really can't say enough good things about our stay here. The amenities and location alone are reason enough to book this listing. Pool was excellent, private beach while small is excellent, local Tiki bar on site was excellent and has a really nice sitting area with chaise lounges overlooking the water. There's even a community grilling area with two of the cleanest grills I have ever seen. The only negatives that weren't really even negatives, the unit itself is a little dated but has been updated enough recently that you barely notice. Also, the wifi in the unit is virtually non-existent so just plan ahead for that. Definitely nothing worth subtracting a star. Would book again in a heartbeat.

The 360 degree view is amazing for coffee and wine! The rest of the place was nice if not a little dark since it's all very enclosed, but spacious and nice. As others have said the hot tub would not get warmer than 87, after the second day I just turned it back off, but there is a hot tub by the main pool that I preferred anyway. As a couple others have mentioned the main downfall is the king bed, it needs replacing. I slept fine, if not the most comfortable, but my husband who is more sensitive to older beds slept awful, it caused him a sore back and neck-aches. We are 50 tho so.... I would say I usually sleep on much better in our travels but have also slept on worse. However since sleep is important we will only be back when the bed is upgraded. Make sure you bring hangars, there were only 2 and there is nothing for cooking like no salt and pepper, oil, or anything. 😆 Enough negative, Ed is very quick to respond to inquiries. This location is amazing. The marina is super fun, saw lots of fish, great restaurants and very close to all the things to do in Key west including Duval St and Mallory Square.

The best location, rental, and host. Our family of 5 was very comfortable in this large space. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and everything seemed brand new (including all furniture and small appliances). The king bed was very comfortable and the resort supplied us with a crib for our son. The host was so nice to communicate with and the staff was all really nice at the resort. The view from the private roof deck was breathtaking. There was a private hot tub on one of the decks too! We’ve been coming to Key West for decades and this is our favorite spot! We hope to stay here again.

The location is a 10! The complex is clean, safe and kept up well. The pullout beds (twin and full) are too old and thin and not suitable for an adult to sleep on. We were a party of three so the third person slept on the couch without pulling it out. Also, the hot tub is a small inflatable one and we were not able to get the temp above 78 so it was not usable. There is a nice hot tub by the pool so we used that. The only view from this unit is when you go to the crow’s nest; it’s an incredible view but there are no standard windows to look outside.

This property is nice and it would be a solid 5 star but nothing had been fixed from last year and there were a few large bugs/siders that I did not tell my wife about.

5 stars across the board. Nice updates with the new tile. The Galleon's team is great and very knowledgeable (Zoey rocks!). Though we gave it 5 stars across the board...just a couple of things to be aware of: 1.) We brought our own pillows, so it wasn't an issue for us, but the bed pillows would have been extremely uncomfortable. 2.) This is no fault of Ed's, but this was our first time here and the roosters are EXTREMELY loud, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper or you'll be waking up at 3:30-4am every morning. The private crow's next at the top is incredible. We spend a lot of time up there.

Beautiful unit, very clean and plenty of room. Galleon facility was extremely nice, very attentive staff, and plenty of places to walk for food. The only complaint is the bed was a bit too hard for our liking. I would definitely stay again. Also, the other property owners and guests were very friendly.

The unit was very nice, exceeded our expectations. Only 4 stars to check-in process because unit was not ready until after 4:40PM. Parking garage spaces are very tight and outside space limited for large truck/SUV parking. We had a Telluride and could not park in the garage. All that being said, we would definitely book this unit again.

We loved the layout of this unit. Bedroom and bathroom were very roomy with plenty of storage. Kitchen well stocked and had everything we needed. Loved the top deck where we watched the sunrise with our coffee and sunset with our wine. We will be back!

Condo was very large and comfortable. It was the only upper level unit and roof top deck. Note there are a lot of light switches. A lot. After 5 days we still got confused with some Due to the window configuration opening up and out partially to the roof the cranks have been removed and cannot be opened. It would have been nice to have some cool evening breeze through the condo but I understand why. The place could use some air flow as it is a little stale smelling.

Excellent place and location. Ed responded quickly on every request. Will definitely stay here again. About the only thing is the mattress is getting a little age to it, other than that the place was awesome. One of a kind place with a hot tub and private access to a roof top area with a beautiful view of the ocean and marina area.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The unit was clean, check in process was easy, and the owner was responsive to our questions. The Lanai/porch was great place to relax in a shaded area( picture accurate as to view). The roof top deck was a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset with a 360 degree view. The pool, jacuzzi , beach area, and bar (sunset grille-not serving food during our visit) amenities were nice. The location was fantastic! Right next to the harbor and all the restaurants and a short walk to Duvall & Mallory Square.

Most unique unit we’ve ever stayed in, spacious & superbly decorated. Galleon is a great location. Right at Marina with lots of bars & restaurants, yet only 5 minute walk to Duval & all it has to offer!

The property was amazing and had a ton of room. The lookout rooftop was a great was to see the boat races. Dealing with Ed was great he responds very quickly. The only issue was with the Galleon itself the room was supposed to be ready at 4 and we couldn’t get in until 630 and they wouldn’t put our cold foods in the fridge and we lost a bunch.

The 1bed/1bath condo was very spacious and the private balcony with hot tub was very nice (although the hot tub was cold and it took a while to heat up- different kind of hot tub we werent familiar with). The private rooftop allowed us 360° views of the waters, boats, and sunrises/sunsets! The location of the resort is excellent for people who want to be a little off the beaten path, but still only blocks from Duval entertainment. We loved the marina/schooners warf area. The only complaint I would have is the angled ceiling in the bedroom. My boyfriend kept hitting his head, when he didn't pay attention, after getting out of bed. But, moving the bed over would keep this from happening, I suppose. We enjoyed our stay, for sure!!
