About this villa rental
This private villa is ideal for families or groups looking for a beautiful & luxurious holiday home having its own private pool and deck area with stunning views of the sea. It accommodates up to 14 persons, having 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The villa is set up on 3 floors and is served with lift.
The ground floor of this property comprises of an entrance hall, a main bathroom with its own bath tub, and an open plan featuring a kitchen/dining/living area, and a utility room equipped with a washing machine & a tumble dryer. The beautiful contemporary kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher & a microwave. The living area then leads to the charming pool and deck area which has its own barbecue facilities, sun loungers, and outdoor furniture to facilitate dining 'Al Fresco'.
An elevator will take you to the second floor, where you will find 3 bedrooms with their own balconies facing the sea (2 bedrooms with ensuite), a main bathroom with shower and a single bunk bed.
On the third floor one will find another double bedroom with its own terrace facing the sea and another bathroom.
On the lower ground floor, you will find another double bedroom equipped with a double sofabed and a bathroom. On this floor, there is also a games room which includes a pool table and table soccer.
Free wifi is offered throughout the property and all the bedrooms are equipped with their own televisions. The villa has its own private garage which can be used at no additional charge. If you are visiting with young children we will provide you a baby cot & high-chair upon request. The Marsaskala beaches are only minutes away on foot which makes the location of the villa ideal.
The villa is situated in a quiet, relaxed & friendly neighbourhood, only a few minutes away from all the daily amenities (pharmacy, green grocer & small convenience store). Further up, around 20 minutes away on foot, there are 2 larger supermarkets which also do deliveries. Also nearby, precisely in St. Thomas Bay area, you will also find good pizzerias & restaurants. The center of the town is only 30 minutes away on foot or easily reachable in a couple of minutes by transport. Should you also wish to opt for the local public transport, you will also find a bus stop exactly outside the property.

We really enjoyed our stay. Location is great, close to beaches (walking distance) and plenty of food. Rent a car if possible it does make getting around the island much easier. Property is exactly as described, super clean and comfortable. Would love to come back and stay again!

An amazing property, nicely designed and decorated .Just loved the infinity pool with views of the sea , lovely roof terrace with loads of sun loungers , table & chairs and area to play table tennis. Beautiful barbecue area , kitchen & living room very spacious, all bedrooms fitted with air conditioning and beds very comfortable . Close to many restaurants and shops but a nice quiet area. Having a washing machine & dryer was an added bonus. I would recommend this villa very highly it was just a fantastic experience. Thanks to Amanda & her wonderful colleagues, they just made our stay very enjoyable.

Our extended family (6 adults, a teen, 2 children and a baby) stayed in Villa Dorado last week and would highly recommend it. We all enjoyed the infinity pool with a sea view, the outdoor barbeque, the rooftop terrace, the storage space, pool table, etc. With kids and a pool, the washing machine and tumble dryer were particularly helpful.
It's just a short walk to quite a few little supermarkets that are open every day and late hours. We could walk around easily to the harbour area of Marsaskala for dinner or ice cream, or down along the sea the other direction to other restaurants and places to swim in the sea. Plenty of parking for rental cars.

The whole accommodation is clean and as described as well as shown on the pictures. I would delete the word “new” from the headline because that is not true anymore. Nevertheless, all of us enjoyed our stay in this extravagant Villa. Even though, the place is not quite cheap.

Amazing Villa and location, plenty of space for us all (6 adults 1 child), everything you need in the villa . We did an online food order and the host Amanda took delivery and put everything away for us, great service. Any questions to the host were answered very quickly. Plenty of places to shop and eat nearby. Would recommend the villa. We had an amazing family holiday.

Wonderful property in Malta
Had a lovely stay at this property. 7 Adults and 3 children, plenty of space and a great games room downstairs. Very well equipped, with everything you could need. A short walk to many restaurants and shops. Amanda couldn't have been more helpful, and was easy to contact and responded quickly.

There was an extra expense for electricity which accumulated to be a small amount between everyone,this was mainly to fuel the air conditioning which was amazing throughout the whole Villa on them warm days/nights.
The bed situation was perfect, all of them were very comfortable and we were also left with extra towels and body wash for showering.
In the kitchen there was everything available to be able to do some cooking if needed. If we come back to Malta we would not consider staying anywhere other than here. Absolutely perfect! Sad To return to reality after an incredible week, the Villa being the pinnacle point of the trip.

Une somptueuse villa tout confort
Nous étions 17 personnes et avons passé 3 nuits à la Villa Dorado + l'unité supplémentaire pour les 40 ans de ma sœur. C'est une maison aux grands espaces, très design et un équipement de très bonne qualité. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et les salles de bains sont propres. La vue est magnifique. La piscine est superbe. Un arrêt de bus se situe juste sur le trottoir devant la villa, c'est très pratique. La cuisine contient les éléments de première nécessité (sel, poivre, sucre…) ce qui est fort appréciable. Côté literie, l'ensemble des matelas sont de bonne qualité, à l'exception du lit rond dont le matelas est coupé en deux demi-cercles, ce qui n'est pas confortable. Autre petit bémol : La villa n'ayant pas été louée depuis quelques jours, il y faisait très froid les 2 premiers jours (le temps que le chauffage réchauffe les murs de l'immense villa), ce qui nous a fait dépasser le forfait d'électricité initialement prévu, d'où un surplus de dépenses. Amanda a été de bons conseils, était disponible (avant le séjour - par mail - et pendant le séjour) et serviable (elle nous a même gentiment apporté des médicaments un dimanche car la pharmacie était fermée). Merci Amanda !!! En résumé, nous recommandons fortement cette villa si vous souhaitez passer de bonnes vacances. Il faudrait être difficile pour ne pas l'aimer.

We felt we paid top price for what it was and were very disappointed to incur additional electricity charge for using the air-conditioning. We were there in middle of summer and there were no fans. There was no alternative but use air-con sparingly. My husband and I sweltered in the top bedroom.
The pool was very warm but developed a lot of algae during our stay.
The kitchen, although modern was sparsely equipped (no lemon juicer, plastic wrap).
Based on the additional electricity charge alone we would not rebook this villa.
We spent 3 1/2 months travelling through Europe staying in numerous properties and no others charged for additional electricity.

Amazing villa! Located in a beautiful area near a waterfront, this villa is perfectly set up, beautifully decorated and very nicely managed by Amanda, a responsive and friendly owner. The near by supermarket has everything you need, a gorgeous bay surrounded by restaurants and cafes is within 15min walking. A bus stop is located outside of the front door and it costs EUR2 to go to Valletta for 25min on bus 93. From the views in the pool, to the modern kitchen, to beautiful balconies and modern showers, this is a perfect place to spend your holidays.

Fantastic villa - real Hollywood stuff!
This is a fabulous villa. Luxurious, dramatic, with beautiful views. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and maintained and Amanda offered wonderful customer care and service. I couldn't recommend this villa highly enough - it was like living in a Hollywood party!

Gorgeous house in a beautiful setting
Large comfortable house, fully equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms and nice pool with view of the water. Pool table and foosball in the basement. Convenient to many sights, such as the Hypogeum and Mdina. Would definitely recommend this house.

Wonderful stay
There were nine of us and this home allowed us to have space to ourselves as well as space to be together. Very well maintained and owners are very responsive if anything is needed.

My friends and I had a fantastic stay for my 30th birthday. The villa is stunning and has everything you could need and more! It was the perfect, relaxing break we were looking for and definitely will be going back!

Beautiful modern villa
10 of us stayed very comfortably in this very beautiful modern villa. Amanda was wonderful and arranged our transfers for us. The villa has everything you need and more-children loved the pool. Local grocery stores with walking distance-they will deliver as well. Lovely bay within walking distance one way and Marsaskala harbour within walking distance the other way. Load of lovely places to eat in Marsaskala. Bus stop outside villa-only €1.50 to get to Valletta. E-cabs provides a great service as well. Had a wonderful stay-thank you Amanda.

Stunning property - highly recommended
Villa Dorado is a stunning property, decorated and furnished to a very high standard. It has everything you need and there are a number of small shops and supermarkets within walking distance. Amanda was really helpful and was on hand whenever we needed her, we could not have asked for more. The property sleeps 10 adults comfortably. I would not recommend for more than 10 adults since the extra beds are not substantial enough or are located in some unusual places (one folds down on the 1st floor landing) but maybe OK for children. We caught the bus to Valetta which was cheap but took a long time. Otherwise we used taxis: they tended to charge us a standard 5EUR pp wherever we went - distance didn't seem to make a difference. I would highly recommend this property - it is gorgeous and has everything you need for a fab holiday

Stunning villa on the coast of Marsaskala
We rented out Villa Dorado for our Wedding group to stay in, and words cannot describe how perfect it was! From the stunning views of the ocean to the endless natural light, the villa not only stunned us, but everyone that came to visit. We also held our Wedding morning photo shoot at the villa, and I could not recommend this more. Amanda (the owner of the villa) was extremely helpful and was available for anything we needed throughout our stay. Villa Dorado is the perfect getaway location for a family/group of friends in Malta!

Great, modern villa, wonderful view, warm hosts
Summarising the experience of staying at Villa Dorado in a few words would be unfair, but I will give it a try: Dorado is a modern, full of light (the building is oriented toward the sunrise and you have a wonderful view over the sea from the upper levels), fully equipped (great living, modern kitchen, it has an elevator too, air conditioning everywhere), a building ready to acommodate 17 people for a quiet, relaxed holiday. We had great BBQs next to the pool (we all loved the pool), area (neighbours) is really quiet and peaceful. Marsaskala main bay is pretty close and we had groceries nearby. Thank you Amanda for being such a great host! See you again soon, hopefully!

We all loved the villa!
The villa was great. It had everything you might need and more. Amanda was very helpful before arrival and booked transfer for some of us.
Location was great, quiet area and good parking available, we did not even need to use the garage. Close to beaches, great views and beautiful sun rises. Pool was awesome. We all enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back to the villa again!

Beautiful modern house in an amazing location
Amanda and her husband were so helpful and lovely both before and during our stay. The house is clean and has everything you need, as well as being a 5 minute walk from the beach and grocery store and a short walk to Marsaskala town (the pictures are a very accurate representation of the house too). We couldn't have had a better stay in Malta, thank you Amanda!

Beautiful Villa! Strongly Recommend!
What can be said? Beautiful villa - impeccably clean, very spacious & luxuriously finished. My family & I know Malta very well and particularly love the Marsaskala area. We were very lucky to find this exquisite brand new villa. We were also blessed with nice weather and the pool was amazing. A truly wonderful holiday! I highly recommend you this villa. The customer service is immediate. Amanda is great! Very helpful! It was a very positive experience for all of us and I am sure that you will have the same experience. We will surely return!!
