not for luxury vacation :)

Location is good: hotel is near to all popular hiking trials (by car) and to cabel cabins to Gubalówka. You can cook by yourself in the kitchen + thete is two normal cafes close to the hotel. If you are with good company and use hotel only for nightsleeping, it will be a normal place for stay.

Hostess is unpleasant, but her stuff is good and always ready to help. Rooms are different, we had small with 5 beds, tiny bedroom and no balcony. Hot water was not always avaliable. Heating didn't work, and there was cold a few days.

Great value for money, especially if you speak Polish

The possibility of even HAVING a family room for 5 people is very good to begin with. The view is rather nice, directly facing the mountain on the back of the establishment. The kitchen is made available for everyone. There are plenty of common bathrooms available (in case the one inside your room isn't enough).

Apparently there were no big or small towels; since we were 5 people, we were given 12 "mini towels". The owner didn't speak any English, and the welcoming process was extremely loose, i.e. no documents asked whatsoever (good for speed ofc, but not in terms of trust). The bathroom is incredibly small for a "family room", i.e. clearly the room was just "stuffed with beds" without the bathroom being adapted for that amount of people. The "family room" is obviously very cramped if you use all of the 5 beds (which I did). The worse about our stay was a water outage on the last day, which albeit global (i.e. in the whole Zakopane), the owner was not caring about it at all and not making sure the guests were still well taken care of.
