About this house rental
BEACH POINT COTTAGE: Three bedroom, pet friendly, cottage just 750 metres walk to the beach, or a 4 minute drive to the main st.
BEACH POINT COTTAGE is private and tucked away behind the sand hills over-looking a large park/oval and a walk to the end of the street, a walk over the sand dunes and you are at the promenade bike/walk path. You are only 400 metres to the Flume(surf Beach) so quite often you will be able to hear ocean roar while you lay in bed!
You are also only a 5 minute drive to the whale watching platform.
Beach Point cottage is completely self sufficient including towels, linen and a complete kitchen with dish washer and Laundry. Beachpoint has a newly renovated bathroom with spa and open style walk in shower. Beachpoint cottage also has central heating for those cold warrnambool winters.
FREE WIFI and Fetch TV
We are family focused.
We also allow pets, conditions apply.
If Desired dates are partially booked, we may be able to split booking with other local properties, please enquire.
Dates of price difference,
Long weekends, public holidays, Easter, May Races, Fun for kids festival, school holidays, cycling classic. Christmas holidays.
We accept only one special per booking.

We stayed 2 nights. Great location. Very comfortable and well laid out. Secure backyard for the dogs. Warm and comfortable in winter but the house would be even better in warmer months.

Well located to the surf beach and walking trails and the fabulous Fletcher Jones gardens and market. The house was inviting and clean with lovely spaces for relaxing and enjoying.

The front view is very deceptive. Although the outside looks a little rundown, the inside is anything but. Very comfortable and roomy. With 5 adults in the house we didn’t feel as though we were on top of each other all the time. We all enjoyed our stay….even the dog. Would stay again.

The property well suited our requirements for the family in both location and roominess. The site was clean and tidy well above our expectations will highly recommend this site to our friends. Not having any troubles or issues made our trip even more memorable

Fabulous set up and location. Everything was clean and set up really well. The location was perfect for the dogs as you could walk anywhere. Very happy with our stay. Property would benefit from having a light that's not a sensor light in the undercover area.

The stay was with my parents and my two small dogs. Plenty of space and was very clean. Lorraine was very helpful when contacted. The dogs were well secured in the backyard. Three separate areas to socialise, and 2 x TVs 2 x toilets. The smart TV was good to access your Netflix account. 2 minute drive to dog friendly beach, bike path along the beach.

The house was very clean and in a great location. It was very homie and enjoyed staying there. Would highly recommend.

Cups and plates had food still stuck on them. Google maps says its 1305m from beach not 750m keys were hard to get at broken towel rack in shower dangerous hand basin no plug no instruction on how to operate heating dog friendly but not dog secure lighting a gas stove with matchers is not on ignition for that needs fixing. We would not stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights. The location was great and central. Not far from coles/town center, restaurants, whale watch platform etc
House was cozyand clean. Few small hiccups on arrival but lorraine was fast to respond and rectify
Kitchen was nice and loved had all the necessities!
Only negative the front balcony has no outdoor lights at all so cant sit out there at night and the back deck has a light but its a sensor light so unless want to wave at it all night made it very difficult to hang out back there .

This was the second time we’ve stayed at the Beach Point Cottage. Being winter this time it was lovely and warm and cosy. It accommodated my husband and I, our 3 adult children and 2 small dogs perfectly. It is very central to lots of local attractions and has a lovely outlook. We just might have to go back for a third visit.

We had a great time. Communication was easy and the place had almost everything we would need. Not quite walking distance to beach or shops for little toddler legs, but oval across the road and dog beach nearby great for dogs.

Perfect home away from home. We are a family of 4 with a dog. Everyone was comfortable along with the dog who loved sitting on the wooden deck with us. Nice quiet location close to the beach and a nice walk to the shops. We loved our stay. Will be back.

The property was clean however mould in 2 bedrooms, not good for one lady on the trip, the back window wouldn't close and garden growing through it plus dampness getting in, windows out the front are rotting away big time for a 4 day's stay $911 was a little over the top, should not be let again until the mould is fixed

Warrnambool is where we catch up with family and the house was a perfect place to come back to each night. Very clean comfortable house

Overall this is a great place to stay. I didn’t notice the trains that much but we were out a lot of the time. I was concerned about the mould on the roof in the bathroom and some of the vents for the heating either rusty or broken. The side gate was really hard to close as the latch wasn’t catching correctly and our dog got out at one stage. This is an old house and I actually like older places but this house needs a bit of tender loving care.

The house was in a great position warm and comfortable.
There were some issues in the house and we left a note for the owners as they have been overlooked.
The staining of the bedroom carpet did not look good either.

Perfect for family with pets
Even though our stay was short I can recommend this cosy place for families if you are bringing in your pets. Erfect backyard for the fur babies. Plenty of out door areas for us to sit and relax. Many thanks to our host Lorraine

A lovely pet friendly house
Stayed here with our 1 year old son and 5 year old jack russell. The backyard was fantastic with heaps of room and undercover entertaining space. The house itself had a great floor plan and we could stay up while our son slept without having to worry about noise. Opposite the road (not too close) was a train line which our son loved to them go by. We will be staying here again! Thanks
