About this apartment rental
The Penthouse at the Carleton Lodge is spread out over approximately 2000 square feet and has everything you and your group will need for a VIP vacation.
The main floor has huge two story ceilings and is home to the Master Bedroom with king bed, full en suite; Chef style kitchen; oversized living room with stone (gas) fireplace; flat-screen TV; balcony; powder room; laundry room and large dining room.
The loft has two bedroom both with full en suites. The first bedroom has two bunk-beds and being able to sleep up to four, is great for kids or close friends (upper bunks exclusively for children). The second bedroom has a king bed and is truly a second Master Bedroom. Please note that although the two loft bedrooms are separated by a wall they are open to the Great Room (refer to profile photo). As well, the loft is only accessible by the spiral staircase and is recommend for agile people with no mobility issues (refer to photos).
Maximum vehicle height for underground parkade is 6' 8".
The Carleton Lodge is the single closest property to both Whistler and Blackcomb's main gondolas for both winter and summer activities. This location is the only area that has access to BOTH mountains as well as the only location to have access to the main mountain bike lift for summer activities.
There simply is no better location in all of Whistler Village and you are only steps from not only the main gondolas but dozens of restaurants, bars, restaurants, cafes, shops, equipment rentals and almost everything else Whistler has to offer.
This location is also within easy walking distance of dozens of restaurants, lounges, bars, nightclubs and shops. Many, including the Longhorn Salon, Black's Pub, The Mexican Corner, Sushi Village, Showcase Snowboards, Teppan Village, Indian Masala Bistro, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub, Zog Dogs, Burton, Lulu Lemon, McCoos, Fat Tony's, Avalanche Pizza, Lift Coffee Company (plus many more) are all either in the building or right outside the door.
This is not a hotel so we don't have hotel like amenities or hotel like services but the property is stock with most things you will need for a great vacation and we are always available should you have any questions.

The condo is located in the heart of Whistler Village... steps to chair lifts/gondola, ski rentals, ski storage, restaurants and bars. The accommodations were comfortable and the open layout facilitated a fun atmosphere.

If you like to ski, you can't get closer to the Whistler Gondola than this. It was the perfect location that allowed us to sleep in a bit and still get on the mountain at a reasonable time.
The place is comfortable with lots of room for our family to sit. The stairs leading to the upstairs bedrooms are narrow and spiral so make sure the people staying upstairs can navigate that. Also, the upstairs bedrooms aren't private. They are like lofts overlooking the living room. You can't see the beds, but from upstairs, you can hear what's going on downstairs. Our kids sleep through everything though so we had no problem with it!

This property was perfect for our week-long family vacation during the CrankWorx festival. The kitchen was well-equipped and orderly. We greatly appreciate the owners' prompt and thorough response to minor issues that came up prior to, and during our stay. We will definitely return!

Can’t beat location to lifts and right in the village. Didn’t have a car so didn’t use parking. When we had questions, owner was super fast to respond. Would definitely stay again!

This is such an easy walk to the lifts and great storage for all equipment. The upstairs shower didn’t work for us and the sink was clogged but we just used the other bathrooms, just might want to check that out. Highly recommend

Come for the location, stay for the location. What's better than a long, hard day on the slopes? Walking 10 meters to your lodging. Hosts were accommodating and setup is good. This is disclosed in the listing but note that two upstairs bedrooms are loft style - e.g. open to LR below. Wasn't a problem for us but good to know.

The location was right across from both gondolas, which was super convenient for us but also taking our young kids to ski school with all their gear. It beat having to cross the entire village.
During our stay we also bombarded the hosts with lots of questions and they replied in a very timely manner, even resolving some small issues like the pilot light to our fireplace going out. I highly recommend.

Place was fantastic. It was so close to the lift.
Beds were comfortable. Great shower pressure for hot shower after a long day on the slopes. Right in the heart of the restaurants. Quiet and peaceful at night. 10/10 recommend.

This place was amazing. The location was unbeatable as it was right next to the ski lifts for whistler blackcomb. Additionally, it is right above longhorn saloon which is the local spot.
The owners were very flexible and communicative and everything went smoothly. 10/10.

If you want to be in the center of it all - this is the place for you. Steps from the slopes, ski rentals, lift tickets, shops and dining. Views of the village were fun.
We were 2 families (3 kids) with different ski levels and expectations. The location is fantastic for those that ski, do not ski, or want to head back to the room early or take a break. Everyone can do what makes them happy and we could all meet up whenever we wanted to. No need to feel isolated if a member of your group has a different plan.
The size of the property fit us well - do keep in mind that 2 bedrooms are open to the main living space if noise is an issue for your group. The window seats were our favorite place to relax and take in the sights.
I would recommend this property and would book again!

The property itself is excellent and as nice as listed. Very open loft style space, with the upstairs being connected to the downstairs open air wise. Great appliances, kitchen stuff, etc. And communication with the owners was amazing. They went above and beyond to accommodate us which is invaluable for these trips.

The condo was great. Good size for 10 people. Location cannot be beat. I'll just say, we will be back and we're only staying here from now on.

The property was in the perfect location within the village and right next to all the shops, restaurants and both the Blackcomb and whistler gondalas. Doug and Andrea were very accommodating and always responses to any questions we had.
