Parking for 1 car . (nearest secure car park Qpark in Kent Street nearby.Free WIFI and safe .No commercial vehicle includes cars with no rear window parking zone restriction in place. This was an amazing place for my family (including 3 teens) to stay. Very clean, easy check-in, great kitchen facilities. Dedicated on-site parking right in front of unit. Great location. A little off the beaten path but very quiet and only a 10-15 minute walk from downtown and and the old city center. Close to several grocery stores. The hosts were very responsive. We had a kitchen appliance problem on a holiday but the hosts came out to the unit to fix the issue. Only one set of keys for the unit (previous guests had lost the second set and the hosts hadn't had time to replace) so we could not split up to do different things but the host intends to procure a second set. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!

Ideally located only a short walk to the city centre. Property itself is clean and well presented, and I imagine the outdoor space is great in warmer weather.

Great location only a short walk into town we loved the markets, side streets, atmosphere and cathedral we had rain, wind and snow all adding the Christmas feel in the air, sadly due to the weather we could not walk the city walls so will need to return 😃 the house was clean and comfortable we loved our long weekend break xx

The property was perfect for our stay. It was bigger than we expected and the little garden at the back by the river was a lovely addition to the house.
The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
We were celebrating our son's graduation so the complimentary bottle of prosecco was much appreciated (as was the bread, milk and butter kindly provided).
The location was great, a short walk from the centre of York. We would definitely recommend staying here.

This property is much better than the pictures show. It has comfy beds, big fluffy towels, lots of little touches, and a welcome pack. Everything was great. Communication with the host was prompt and reliable.

We had a lovely stay. The location was excellent for the Barbican as we were going to see a show. Also very close to town centre so easy access. Lovely house, beautifully cleaned and presented. Lovely outdoor area for drinks in the sunshine by the river. Lots of space to sit in the lounge. Very spacious upstairs - comfy beds and pilllows. Definitely recommend this property and I will def be back. Thank you for the welcome pack too xx

This rental was perfect for our family of four travelling across the UK by car. Location was great and we enjoyed walking to most sites in York. Property was as advertised with everything we needed including some nice refreshments upon arrival, welcome after a long drive! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Kieth and Jayne!

Couldn’t fault our stay. Property was well maintained, clean and welcoming (particularly the bottle of Prosecco!) Have stayed in area before but directions etc were vey accurate. We would all love to stay again, can’t say better than that.

Clean property equipped with everything you need for your stay. Quiet location with a small garden that overlooks the river. A short walk to the centre of York, but plenty of pubs and restaurants locally too.

A perfectly lovely place for a stay in York
This gem of a cozy house is just 5 minutes from the center of York and yet it is in a calm, smart neighborhood. The backyard overlooking the canal is where we took all of our meals, shaded by the trees in the evening. The bedrooms are nice and the beds very comfortable. It got warm while we were in York but we stayed cool with the windows slightly opened. The interior decoration in the kitchen and bathroom is very nice. Overall lovely stay and nice sleep.

We booked this for our pregnant friends hendo and the house was amazing. It was clean and so spacious. We had a bottle of prosecco on arrival too. The garden was lovely and we chilled in it a lot. Would definitely stay again.

Short break in york
Property in excellent quiet location, on river front within walking distance to town centre. Spacious and very clean, very comfortable with some little extras which made us very welcome. Would highly recommend to anyone .

Half Term Holiday
Myself, daughter and two young granddaughters stayed here for the Oct 19 half term. House is beautiful and very clean. Great location with parking and walking distance of York.
Heating was on for our arrival and basics left so we did not have to do immediate shopping. We would definately stay here again. One minor point, bathroom floor is very creaky when walked on waking kids etc. Up in the night.

We had a great stay at this beautiful place, on the river, and close to the city of York. Everything was very clean, and easy to use. The welcome pack was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed here for a few days and the location was perfect! The house is very clean and had everything we needed. I needed to talk to Jayne and she responded immediately! She even gifted us with a chilled bottle of delicious Prosecco and supplies in our fridge!

Incredible stay
The house was immaculate, well-decorated and clean. Most importantly it felt really homely. The view from the garden was amazing and the garden itself was well taken care of. It was very nice of Jayne to leave some eggs, juice, bread, and a bottle of Prosecco! The kitchen was well-equipped and we had a wonderful homecooked dinner for 5.
