Sweaty Palms is cute as a button inside with comfortable furnishings, hardwood floors, and nice open deck off the back of the house with all the conveniences of home. You will welcome quiet evenings relaxing on the screened in porch or grilling on the open back deck after a day spent on the beach only 150 yards away. Sweaty Palms comfortably sleeps four with one Queen, two Twins and one bathroom.

Staying at Sweaty Palms is like going back in time. The one-level cottage with the large screened-in porch is set back from the road and feels like haven amidst the tall condos surrounding it. The palm trees and other foliage make it feel private and cozy. The decor was very pleasant. Bed was comfy. Couch and chairs could be improved. Fun to read guest book comments dating back to 1984. Very close to Red Bar (our favorite) and beach. Nice to be able to do laundry during our stay. Would love to stay there again.

Sweaty Palms was a perfect little home for an anniversary getaway! It was in a great location just steps from Red Bar and the beach. It had an awesome enclosed front porch which we enjoyed each night after a day on the beach. We loved our stay in Grayton Beach and we look forward to coming back soon!

This place was absolutely darling and perfect for just the two of us. We were within walking distance to the Beach, Chiringos, and Red Bar. The Front Screened In Porch was perfect for Morning Coffee & Pastries from Black Bear Bakery also within walking Distance or you can use the Shuttle. The House kept nice and cool and on a hot summer day we were thankful our car had a shady place to park. Definitely booking this place again. We loved it!

Great little place
A few things to mention: there needs to be a better mattress in the main bedroom, a handrail to get up the front steps - and they were tearing down a building across the street - each day starting at 7 am with dump trucks, an excavator, etc. No sleeping in or taking a nap!

Enjoyed Sweaty Palms
Best part of our stay was location. So close to the shore and nearby shops Recommend Hurricane Grill! House was very clean and well equipped. Great shower! Noticed a droning sound on and off from second bedroom. Maybe some kind of pump? Could use a good drain stopper.

Perfect Getaway!
Sweaty Palms is part of what makes Grayton so special. The 1970’s fishing village is our favorite part of Grayton. It’s like a step back in time with modern convinces mixed in. The location couldn’t be better! Steps away from Chiringo’s, Red Bar, zoo Gallery and the world’s most perfect beach! We can’t wait to return!

Vacation with a hurricane
Sweaty Palms is very nice. Not fancy but exactly what I wanted. Small, clean, and apparently sturdy as my friends and I were there for hurricane Sally. No problems at all even the electricity stayed on. Close walk to beach and "downtown" Grayton Beach. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Lovely inviting comfortable
Loved the art and decorating. Felt so inviting when we arrived with the lamp lights on when we arrived late in the evening. Great historic town and interesting to see the guest book filled with international guests visiting Natchez.

Fantastic stay at Sweaty Palms
This was a fabulous vacation house for two teenage girls and their dad. Only a 150 steps to the beach and 62 steps to a fantastic restaurant/bar. Grayton Beach is close enough to visit Seaside and Santa Rosa but without all of the traffic and congestion. It could not have been more relaxing. I will certainly stay here again.

We loved our stay at Sweaty Palms. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
We had a great time here! My husband and I took our 6 month old on her first trip to the beach. We don’t like eating out much and prefer to cook. The kitchen was fully equipped and the we used the grill several times. The house was very clean when we arrived. We spent plenty of time on the screened in porch. We laid the playmat out there and our daughter loved watching the cars pass by. The beach was so close! Which was great for us as we had to time our beach visits around nap time. This house is also very close to the state parks, several restaurants and shops too. The neighborhood is beautiful with its live oaks and palm trees and it had more of a local feel with some older funky houses and cabins. One thing That may be a drawback for some is the nearby restaurant played loud music on the weekends. But it didn’t bother us too much. The house itself was perfect and we will be back!

We loved this little house!! Just what we needed for two overworked parents. Loved the proximity to beach and restaurants, as well as free netflix! we had never watched before. Also the screened porch was just awesome we spent alot of time there in the morning! We will come back again!

The Best House in Town!
This is my favorite place in the world! I have been fortunate enough to stay there twice now and fall deeper in love every time. Grayton is the best beach on 30A! Sweaty Palms is the cutest house, it has all you need for this beach town, the huge front porch is my favorite room in this house.

Secret Spot - Amazing Locaiton
If you want to be in the middle of Grayton, close to the beach...Red Bar and Western Lake this is the place. What a beautiful little beach cottage that is the epitome of old Grayton. We will be back, this is our new favorite. Highlight was the secret exit out the back with our YOLO Boards to walk past the Red Bar and go paddle at Western Lake.

I was there with three girlfriends and we had a ball...close to everything by foot or by car. Wonderful restaurants and shopping...beach was glorious and the house is perfect. It's small, but perfectly laid out and spotlessly clean.

Perfect beach cottage!
This is our 3rd time staying at Sweaty Palms and again we had a great week! This little cottage is perfect for my husband and I to stay, along with our toddler. We love having coffee on the screened porch in the mornings and the close access to the beach is great. We will be back next summer!

Sweaty Palms is wonderful little 2 bedroom house close to the beach. The back deck is a great place to have a cookout and the screened in front porch is fun for breakfast, dinner or simply watching the people walk by.

We love this cottage!
This was our third time staying in Sweaty Palms and it always feels like "coming home". The cottage is clean and comfortable. The bed in the master bedroom is like sleeping in a tropical cloud. We love the screened in front porch and spend every morning there, drinking tea and watching the runners jog past. The proximity to the beach is wonderful, too. You just can't beat the price for a Summer vacation rental and we really enjoyed having Netflix on the living room TV.
