This newly constructed Seagrove Beach house will make you feel like you're dreaming from the moment you walk in. Built with luxury and comfort in mind, this modern oasis will please even the most selective guest. Day Dreamer can accommodate up to 12 guests and features 4 unique bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a rooftop fire pit, and a stunning private pool that can be heated in the cooler months.
This house was built so that you would never want to leave, but if you do find a way to pry yourself away you are in an ideal location to many attractions nearby. Bike to Seaside, only about a mile away for a fun day of shopping and eating in the square. Day Dreamer is situated in close proximity to multiple other notable restaurants as well as a Publix grocery store. Most importantly, the beach access is directly down the street, only about 150 yards away.
Day Dreamer has an outdoor space built for entertaining. Grill out on the built in propane grill while the kids (and adults too!) splash around in the sparkling pool. Enjoy the use of the outdoor pool house for meals in the shade, or catching up on a good book. The second floor roof top is the perfect place to catch a good tan and enjoy a fruity cocktail. The sliding glass doors to the living area of the home expand open so that your guests inside are still just as much part of the fun. The indoor space boasts a generous living area with cable TV, wifi, bluetooth speakers, games, books, and a large dining table. Brand new appliance and sleek cabinetry accent the gourmet kitchen that any chef would be satisfied to cook in. Each bedroom is equipped with brand new king size mattresses, luxurious bedding, flat screen TVs, and private bathrooms. In one of the bedrooms a unique bunk room can be discovered behind an impressive barn door and has two sets of built in twin size bunks. After a long day of fun in the sun, get the s'mores ready, grab a bottle of wine, and head up to the roof top for a fireside hangout. The property was clean and well-maintained. The pool was a wonderful experience as well as the rooftop fire pit. Two issues we had were with cockroaches and keeping the air temperature balanced. The property management team was very responsive when we had issues and overall we had a very nice stay.

A wonderful house and a nice and quiet revelation

Absolutely beautiful property! Great location and perfect setup for my daughter's 15th birthday party!
However, upon check-in last month, the property was FAR from rental ready, as if it had not been occupied in several months:
Hot water didn't work
No Internet
No network connection on TV once internet repaired
Broken dryer
Non-working master TV
Screws in driveway (which I ran over 1 upon arrival and immediately had a flat tire within 2 hours)
Though each concern was addressed over the 9 days we spent at the property, it required a significant amount of time remaining at the property for Ocean Reef to arrive EACH DAY for timely repairs. Not the way I was hoping to spend my daughter's Spring Break / Birthday celebration with friends and fam.
Most repairs required multiple trips, techs, and time!
Upstairs TV had to be completely replaced over the span of 3 days. The dryer was never fixed despite 4 attempts by 3 different techs. They finally gave up.
Traveling with a group of 10 girls and not having the use of a washer/dryer over 9 days was definitely a problem!
When I spoke with property management to share my frustrations upon my return, their respone was 'breakers go out', 'tv's go out', 'you had 4 other tv's to watch'. The reason we gave you the 1% (yes, ONE %) refund was for the non-working dryer.
I am hoping the owners of the property see this review and find a different property management company.

Paid extra fee of $525 to heat pool. Worked 1-2 days at most but because we did not call every day it didn't work - only refunded for 2 days, even after one point being told I would be refunded for the amount of days it didn't work. My fault I guess for not calling every day it didn't work. We had 3 different service calls but last Pool man said filters needed replacing which prevented proper heating.Queen bed broken in bunk room. Told to put mattress on floor. Fixed last night of stay so again no refund or even apology. In fact told since the bed was fixed on the last night it was no longer a problem. Dirty pans in cabinets that had to be washed before use. Ocean Reef management company was very polite responding to problems but never acknowledged that these were not small inconveniences but impacted the quality of trip and the value of the property. We rented this property because of the amount of beds and a heated pool. They ignored the fact we had to sleep on the floor for 6 nights. Only got 2 days of pool refund after many phone calls and was really not enough.Even splitting the pool fee would have gone a long way.Have rented many times before. I don't expect things not to happen but when they happen and can't be fixed it does impact the overall experience of the trip. Property well located and is nice but with so many nice properties in the area I would never choose this one again or any home managed by this company.

Day Dreamer was a great place to stay for 10 days during Christmas with our family. Seaside is a great location and 10 minute walk. The kitchen was very well stocked and we ate most of our meals there. The rooftop fire pit was a great bonus to cook s’mores, unfortunately only did once as nights were cool. Highly recommend

Beautiful house, with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms in the house, and one full bathroom in the pool house. Excellent kitchen appliances and very well stocked. The room with the bunk beds is reached through one of the bedrooms. The pool house has a closet full of pool and beach toys. I would definitively go again.

We had a phenomenal stay at the Day Dreamer. We especially loved making smores at the rooftop fire pit! The living room is more spacious than it appears -we seated 6 adults and a toddler comfortably with room to spare. The proximity to the beach is ideal, as well as to Seaside, Watercolor, and Publix

Property was amazing and very close to the beach. Love the cabana along with the pool! The only complaint I would have is the back door alarm. Very annoying. Says $150 charge for messing with it but honestly I would probably pay that just to not hear it again.

Great location, perfect pool for toddler
What we loved:
Our family of 5 adults and 1 toddler enjoyed a very nice week at Day Dreamer. The pool had a generous sized wading area, about 12 inches deep, that was perfect for our two-year-old grandson. Water was sparkling clean, pool area and lounge chairs were in great condition. The covered pool room with attached sink, toilet, and shower was good to have. Beach was a short, easy walk. Beach chairs and umbrella were waiting, clearly identified, every day. Plenty of room to park our two SUVs and rented golf cart at the house. Grandson loved the bunk beds. Rooftop deck was a great place to enjoy sunset and watch the stars come out. The house, kitchen, bathrooms were clean and in good condition. Gas grill worked great, as did the rooftop and ground level fire pits. We loved the location, being so close to Seaside.
What we tolerated:
Washer and dryer were too small, and dryer took more than four hours to dry a handful of towels. Only one eye on the gas stove would stay lit. Could not get the oven to work at all (ended up using outside grill instead). The cable box for the TV in the living area did not work (all other TVs worked fine).
What we found troubling:
The only locks on the front and side doors utilize digital keypads that anyone with the code (cleaning crew, maintenance, previous guests) can open. Every hotel room, cruise ship cabin, and vacation home we’ve ever stayed in all over the world has had either a latch or second deadbolt that can only be opened from the inside, for security of guests while present in the property. This property has such a device on the door to the pool area, but nothing on the other two outside doors. An inexpensive, easily installed latch on those other doors would have greatly increased our peace of mind.

Visited for Fall break and we thoroughly enjoyed the house. Perfect location and well appointed. We especially loved the outdoor spaces (pool, roof top). I would stay here again.

Good. A few suggestions. The apartment size washer/dryer was very disappointing way to small that that size house. The landscape around the pool was unkempt we ask to have weeds picked but never happened. The security to the pool door didn’t work for the first 2 days. We had 5 small children. The house is a wonderful location and pool and pool house were great. We would stay there again

House is gorgeous, modern, new top end appliances, outside grill and fire pits are great. Pool is gorgeous but not heated. Easy walk and super easy bike ride to seaside ( tip- bike all the way to seaside on grove street not 30A.!)

Perfect proximity to beach and easy walk or bike ride into Seaside center. Only lost a star due to front door which needs repair (otherwise had to slam it closed). It was a nice surprise to have some games in the closet as well as books and beach items in storage. The recommended catering service was excellent.

Great place for a family getaway or even a girls weekend!!
The house was amazing! We unfortunately had to evacuate 3 days early because of the hurricane. The location was perfect for a stroll to the Seaside shops and restaurants and it was just a short walk to the beach. The kids enjoyed the rooftop fire pit, while us adults enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. We will definitely book this house again for a “redo” hopefully with much better weather!!

Great location as it's walking distance to Seaside and a short walk to the beach. House is very modern, with a great pool and lots of nice outdoor features. The owners also provided everything you need for cooking and plenty of games/outdoor beach accessories for use. The only complaint is the king beds were a little uncomfortable (almost like nice futons), but other than that it was a really fantastic place.

Amazing property!
We recently took our family - 6 adults, 2 children - and spent a week at the house over the 4th of July and could not have asked for a better experience. The house itself is stunning, everything was top of the line. The bedrooms are split (2 rooms on each end of the main floor and 2 rooms on each end of the second floor) which allowed for some nice privacy - but with close proximity to the 'hidden' bunk beds which were a huge hit with the kids. The fire pit on the rooftop was a treat in the evenings. The pool was pleasantly larger than we expected and provided constant entertainment once we were finished with the ocean; there is also a nice outdoor bathroom so as to not track sand and water into the house. The location was perfect - there is a beach access point one block from the house and it was never crowded, we had plenty of room to ourselves even on one of the busiest holidays of the year. Also, it is a short 5-10 min walk to the main strip of Seaside for restaurants and shops and within a 5 min drive to Publix. Our local friends even commented that they would be recommending the house to their out-of-town families as it was one of the nicest properties they'd seen. Overall, just fantastic and we would happily stay here again.
