beautiful spot above Russell on the hill, but still walking distance to the village Owner very friendly and welcoming woken up at night by Kiwi’s, very cool.

Perfect spot for a Russell get-away

Welcoming hosts, accommodations as noted, wondetful ambiance. Relaxing environment with nice view of the harbor.

Wish we coul have stayed a couple of more days.

very nice apartment with all things catered for a five minute walk to the harbour beautiful view

shame due to the weather that we couldn’t enjoy the decking and barbecue careful of the car on the steep driveway into the property

We enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again and recommend to anyone.

The host was there to meet us and showed us the room and provided us with things to do during our stay. The view was to die for and the facilities such as a BBQ were made available.

A comfy couch to sit on while watching TV.

Fabulous accommodation in Russell

The views are stunning and the apartment chic and comfortable. The fact that kiwis and wekas went by every evening a delightful bonus.

Parking a tad awkward but you don't get the views without the hill so easily borne.

Lovely light and spacious apartment overlooking the sea and Russell wharf.

The room was spacious, clean, light and tastefully decorated. It had a great view of the sea and Russell township. Enjoyed the private deck. The apartment was situated beside a bush area and sometimes Weka (birds) would walk across our deck which was fun. Heard kiwi’s calling one night. Well stocked kitchen. Spacious shower. Short/moderate length walk uphill to get to the apartment (5-10 minutes) but my 90 year old father coped with it. On the walk up the road we saw little rabbits, a pheasant, weka, chaffinches and fantails. A lovely place to stay.

Parking area was a little steep but as long as you’re careful it’s manageable.

Great location, excellent hosts, and exceptional accommodation

The hosts were terrific and the apartment was excellent. Very clean and well fitted out. Had everything you needed for your stay. The beds were very comfortable.

Overall, one of the best places we’ve stayed so far in NZ

Very clean, modern apartment in a nice, quiet location. Nice setting on the hillside with plenty of local bird life. Good view of harbour from deck. Easy walking distance to Russell shopping strip. Little traffic on road up to the Sails despite it being one of the busiest times of the year. Owners living in house above were very pleasant and helpful. Lady who came in to do cleaning was lovely !

Parking space could be challenging for some, but was quite manageable

Fantastic location overlooking Russell and the wider harbour area. We had a very well-appointed one bed apartment with a lovely outside seating area/deck.

A great place to stay, very quiet and private and we would definitely stay here again.

The unit was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the view over the bay superb. Our host was welcoming and helpful. The kitchen was well-equipped, generous storage available for belongings. We had a deck to sit outside on where we could have a quiet wine, or eat or BBQ, and we were joined by a cheeky weka strutting around on it.

Not a problem for us as we had a car, but if you are on foot, it is a very steep climb up from the town centre to the apartment. The bathroom steamed up despite a fan, but our host alerted us to it and how to manage it.

The sea views from our apartment was disappointing as most of it was obscured by a tall bush (we thought it might be on the neighbours property).

being one minute away from the hubbub of tourist Russell makes a difference. this apartment is beautifully presented wit

it is beautifully appointed, private and spacious where it needs to be. easy access and lovely outlook

the noise of the heat pump took some getting used to.

A great option for your stay in Russell

- Stunning views over the water - A warm welcome from our host including tips about the local wildlife - Very well appointed unit with lovely fittings and furnishings - Unit seemed near new and no noticeable wear for an apartment that must have frequent visitors - Extremely reliable wifi included - Spacious bathroom and excellent shower - Really well stocked kitchen with two stove top burners and a microwave - Close to some great views from the nearby trails - Private off street parking - Only a few minutes drive or a brisk stroll from the centre of Russell

- Heard some occasional audio from elsewhere in the residence but only briefly and wasn't a significant issue for us.
