Very close to the railway station , east access to public transport into town or further afield

Could be a bit noisy with load people outside the station messing about and drinking late at night

I loved my stay at Hotel Marin and I will stay here anytime I come to Laval. The location is great,

I thought the breakfast adequate, although, as an American, not as robust as we are use to. I loved the coffee machine, the assortment of pastries, cereals, etc. I wasn't sure how to make the eggs and would have liked a hot meat, but that is being picky. Over all it was a great stay.

For Americans, we are use to having someone at the front desk 24/7 to help us. I did find it confusing that there was no directions written in English on the door, that would help with how to access then entry. Once I figured it out (which took some time), I found it a cool process to be able to enter a code to get into the first entry, then put a code in the box to retrieve my room key. I did have to remember that one of the numbers on the key was the code to use to regain access to the entry door once I left the hotel. Aside from these small frustrations, I loved my stay at Hotel Marin and I will stay here anytime I come to Laval. The location is great, the hotel is clean and the staff beyond helpful.

The issues we encountered were not worth mentioning for a single night stay, overall good quality for money.

We liked the flexibility of our check in: as we didn’t know what time we’d arrive, the key was easily accessible to check in autonomously.

There was only one bath towel for 2 people. Hand soap and hair dryer in the room would have been appreciated.

Disappointing.

It was convenient in the centre of Laval. The bed was comfortable & the breakfast was good.

The bedroom was ridiculously small with the shower in the bedroom right next to the bed. There was barely room to open our suitcase. Breakfast coffee was from a machine & not good.

Excellent!!

I travel around Europe on a regular basis, and stay in many hotels. Hotel Marin should have a higher star* rating. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Staff “so friendly “ Good Breakfast. Would recommend to anyone... Close to the train station and restaurants. Nothing to fault!! Lots of choices on types of rooms!! Value for money££ €€
