About this house rental
Adjacent to acres of green space (previously a golf course) and 4.5 miles of walking and bicycle paths (formerly the golf cart path). Located close to I-75 and I-64, Lexington's premier shopping area (Hamburg), and with easy access to the Kentucky Horse Park (80% of the 15-mile route is on interstate highway).
Two bedrooms with king beds, one bedroom with two queen beds, another bedroom with a queen bed, a sleeper sofa in a common area; two roll-away twin beds an a crib are also available upon request. Three of the bedrooms have bathrooms en suite! Two 65" televisions in common areas with YouTubeTV and Netflix subscriptions, plus Roku (you can connect to your own streaming subscriptions).
Over 90% of furnishings (furniture, towels and linens, televisions, kitchen small appliances, dishes, etc.) are new as of October 2018.
Although listed for a maximum of 15 people, that's an arbitrary number because it depends on your sleeping arrangements/needs.

(1) MAXIMUM OF 4 UNRELATED INDIVIDUALS (i.e., not related by blood, marriage, or adoption) due to zoning restrictions on single-family housing.
(2) MAXIMUM AWAKE-TIME VISITORS on the property is one per paid guest at any given time (for example, if you have 5 paid guests then you can have a maximum of 5 additional awake-time visitors in the house at any one time). If you anticipate having more visitors than paid guests then you must obtain written permission (to do so, write to me with the purpose for the visitors, the total number of visitors, and the day/time range that they will be visiting).
(3) QUIET TIME is 10pm to 7am. This is a quiet family neighborhood; if the neighbors can hear your voices, your music, or anything else of your creation from their property then you are too loud.
(4) INTERFERING WITH THE SECURITY SYSTEM IS PROHIBITED. This includes tampering with, disabling, repositioning, or covering the cameras or security system equipment. (FYI, video/audio cameras are positioned to watch the entire perimeter of the house and in the garage; there are no cameras inside the living area of the house itself.)
Most guests followed these common-sense rules even before they became explicit rules, but those who didn't have upset the neighbors. Therefore, failure to comply with these rules can result in police involvement, eviction, and/or forfeiture of the deposit. Please note that the neighbors are aware that this is a short-term rental and I have encouraged them to call the police and/or me if problems arise. That said, follow these common-sense rules and everyone will be happy. :)

Absolutely Perfect!
Only 4 adults stayed here, and we had an enormous amount of room and privacy. King beds are most comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Perfect For Us
We visited Lexington for a long weekend family gathering of 6 adults. The house was laid out perfect for us! We had decided to cook in most meals and the kitchen was well equipped for that (good amount of plates, pots, pans, utensils) . Also enjoyed the outdoor space for just hanging out. Used the grill once, too.
The bedrooms and baths were spacious and included plenty of nice linens. The beds were quite comfy, as well.
We spent our time visiting and playing games so didn't even turn on a single TV. Liked having the garage door openers for convenience.
The weather was a bit rainy so we didn't get to explore the golf course area but it was nice to have the privacy.

Great Property; Exceptional Management
Enjoyed a delightful family reunion during our 4 day stay. The house is beautifully and fully outfitted with modern furnishings. Everything was very clean and in good repair.
We coordinated several details with the owner, Jason, in advance. Without fail, he answered VRBO messages within an hour. He was exceptionally flexible (allowed early check in) and responsive to a couple of special requests we made.
The property listing is very accurate. While all of these are reflected in the listing, we'd emphasize a few things for those planning their stay:
1. House is accessible via steps. My older parents are still able to walk a few steps, and by parking in the garage, it was just 5-6 steps into the house. Would only be an issue if you have guests that need ramp or level accessibility.
2. Garage easily parks 2 cars. Two more can go in the driveway. There is very limited street parking and it is discouraged.
3. Three of the four bedrooms have attached bathrooms.
4. Golf course is currently closed. This leaves the cart paths as a nice walking path of about 5 miles.
5. Any sort of store one might need is within a mile or two.
We highly recommend the house. Jason's exceptional management make it stand out. We'd definitely stay there again!

You will not be disappointed
There are way too many great things to list about this property in this short survey. Plenty of room, lots of privacy for each guest, new amenities throughout, ultra clean and modern, near grocery stores, pharmacy, gas stations and freeway; cookware and glassware for entertaining, if needed.
We stayed over the Christmas holiday with our two sons and their wives. We all kept marveling how well kept and comfortable this home is and would like to stay in it again when visiting our family in Paris, KY.

Great Experience
We had a family holiday weekend here. Everything about the house met our expectations. We loved the layout of the house and it was stocked with everything we needed for a family of 15. Would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a spacious home to rent.

Great location for Blanton"s
The home has everything you need including nice towels and plenty of them. It is located near lots of shopping of restaurants. The beds are very comfortable. You can't go wrong!!

Beautiful Home
The home was beautiful. It was very comfortable for a group of 12 ladies that had to share the bathrooms and kitchen. lol Great location to stores, restaurants and the most important place the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. The ladies were very pleased with the home so you will be too. The owner is great!

Dream House!
The moment we stepped in the door we were completely satisfied! The house is immaculate, roomy and very comfortable and cozy. We had 8 adults and there was not one minute that we felt overcrowded. The space allowed us to all be together to watch football after a day at the races along with space for privacy if needed. It rained one day that we were there and we were still able to sit outside on the covered patio and not get a drop of rain on us. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds and pillows were, we had plenty of towels and washcloths and the kitchen was a dream for easy cooking and socializing. Thank you Jason for such a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back on one of our future trips to Lexington. 5 stars!

Immaculate
Just spent five days at this immaculately decorated home. The owner has thought of every possible need. My friends and I especially enjoyed the back porch for morning coffee and evening chats. The beds were extremely comfortable. Location is near several good restaurants. All our group would definitely recommend this Vrbo for anyone traveling to Lexington. Home for giants.
everything was great. The driveway was unbelievable but we managed it. The house was fabulous. We were surprised at how high everything was,, Towel hooks, 7ft, clothes rods in closets, 8ft. But everything was beautiful and of the best quality. We were very pleased.

We could not have asked for a better home or homeowner for our recent visit to Lexington! Jason was incredibly easy to work with and stayed in touch throughout the booking, checkin and checkout process. The home was beautiful and exactly what we needed for our 8 person group. Beautifully decorated and stocked with all the necessary items, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
