They gave us a coupon for breakfast at a very nice breakfast place a short walk away and the food was delicious. In fact, the whole town was pretty much walkable from our place and the historic town was quite beautiful. Katherine, the owner of the house, was very sweet and she shared the the history of the town and the house with us. The pool at the house was beautiful and super clean. The house and the grounds were well maintained and offered a peaceful setting.
Also, the region has many fine wineries around the lake that have exceptional wines.
Everything was quite nice.

Incredible venue filled with charm & personality. Catherine and her mother are extremely help — and enjoyable. Simply fantastic. Very, very highly recommended. I'll be back!

The location. We could walk to town.
We were told to shut off lights when not using them. The shower was in the bedroom. We were given breakfast tickets to a restaurant which basically covered one egg and toast.

No breakfast at the inn because of Covid. Had to go into town to eat. Got a $15 voucher but it cost double that to eat there.

Loved the location, the inn and the inkeeper. Caroline did her best to make us comfortable! We will revisit in the Spring!

The grounds to this property are beautiful. While the building itself is old, the accommodations were very comfortable and welcoming. The owner was very pleasant and informative. It is on a quite street within walking distance to in town shops, restaurants and the lake front. It was nice to have an relaxing evening fire in the back yard, especially after exploring all day.
The stairs are very narrow but considering the age of the house, typical. You just have to take your time. As a Bed and Breakfast we were expecting breakfast and were slightly disappointed that it was not a part of the service, especially since the reviews raved about how good they were; however, it was not the most important aspect to the weekend and did not distract from the wonderful time we had there.

When we arrived we found an envelope posted on the outside door with a note and our room key. We were to go in and sign the book. Our room was up stairs and identified by name. In the envelope we were informed since the dining room painting was not completed they were giving us $20 cash to go to breakfast locally. We never saw any staff during our entire stay. It was an unusually hot muggy day and there was no air conditioning as stated. I called and got a response that since it was early the air-conditioning hadn't gone on but someone would come and install a window unit, which they did while we were out. A small living room area was available to us as we entered on the first floor but everything else was closed. It appeared the B & B had not opened yet for the season including the inside areas, out-door sitting areas, pool and gardens, so what we experienced was not what we anticipated at all from the website and previous B & B experiences elsewhere. In addition there was an inappropriate charge of $250 for cleaning for an extended stay and we only stayed one night. We have been unsuccessful in having it removed by booking.com so our credit card company has become involved in assisting us.
It would have been better and appropriate if we had been informed it was not opened yet and so services were not as expected. Also to be greeted by our inn keeper would have been much appreciated. The past reviews were glowing and positive so it was very disappointing to be hosted in this way.

The location of the property was walking distance to town. I liked that the property had a pool.
Tiny space, not the space we originally booked, no notice of change of accommodations even though we booked 4 months in advance, no access to main house or it’s amenities, door did not always lock, no breakfast or reasonable substitute.

Location was great (close to downtown, in a beautiful historic property); rooms were clean; staff was very friendly and helpful
I understand that it was due to new pandemic related regulations that coffee machine and fridge were removed from the room and breakfast was not provided. However, it was inconvenience and it should have been reflected in the price, but it was not.
